Francesco's

Love the food but when the service can be very slow. Especially when are having private parties in the back room. They don't have enough staff to cover both the party and customers!!! more

I would like to say that this is by far the best restaurant we have ever eaten at! Bobjk ? I must say, not only have you not experienced fine dining in the past, you are obviously illiterate, as well. I have the Entertainment book and the Enjoy book, and it states very clearly (in bold I may add) that coupons are not accepted after 6pm on the weekend. I know this, because I can read. Also, you have obviously never been a chef, whom cooks ALL of his meals from scratch, one by one. That is a complete insult to the chef and the wait staff to say because there is a ?larger? party, that you had to wait. EVERYTHING IS MADE TO ORDER!!! Not to mention, there is ONE person preparing all of the meals, by himself. The food is excellent, no one can deny that, and it is because of the hard-work and dedication that he puts into making sure that every meal is perfect. Pros: Everything!!! more

This is our first time we went to Francesco's. The food is delicious and the service was top shelf thanks to our lovely server Francesca. The menu offered a wide variety of home-made foods and everybody in our party of eight were extremely satisfied with the quality and the great portions that Francesco's delivered. Thanks Francesco's and Francesca for your ""Great Food and Terrific Service"". We will be back more

This is the second time we went to Francesc's for our aniversery. We were excted. This experience was far from good. Food quality is good. We couldn't complain about the food. The wedding soup was great!. Service was far from good. It wasn't busy and it took an hour for our food. We could see the waitress were running around like they had no clue how to handle a few tables. We were told that the ""big party"" slowed things down. There were 7 people! Hey, my money was just as good as theirs. I could see other partrons were getting tired waitng for thier checks. I guess someone doesn't know how to manage more than a couple tables. We tried to present an Entertainment Book coupon and we were told they don't take it after a certain hour. That's a lot of BS! There was no fine print in the Entertainment book page saying this. Guess this was a way for the restauraunt to rip off is patrons. This is the last time we go here. To bad, because it was close to home and the is good. I feel bad that I told friends about how great his place is. Guess I will have to let them know there are better choices than Francesco's. more

This is the best romantic dinner spot in the entire Pittsburgh region! The food is always fantastic and the price will not make you faint at the end. You are paying for what you get - very generous portions and some of the best tasting Italian food anywhere in the city. I always order the Veal Alfredo! We go here for our anniversary every year!
