I found this place and online and am so thankful that I did. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is planning on taking a trip to the snow. They have everything under one roof from ski boots, pants, bibs, jackets, sleds, skis.....ect....There was no deposit & the guy was super friendly. Other places were trying to charge deposits on everything, but this place went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed from head to toe. I will keep recommending this place to everyone. more

Great place 4/6/2010

We took our baby mockingbird here when she was sick, and the staff was very courteous and helpful with suggestions about how to improve her health and better care for her. Ultimately, once she was healthy, we released Chirpy into the wild and she did great! more

ski and snowboard rentals 12/29/2005

I came here on a recommendation from my friend who said it was cheaper to rent here rather then up in Tahoe. I followed his advice but don't think I will anymore, it was really too much of a hassle having to have those skis and a snowboard to carry around in my car. The saving aren't that great: I rented a snowboard for 2 days for $40 (with boots) and a parir of skis (with boots) for $38. But if you want to save those couple bucks and dont mind having to carry the equipment around with you this is a good place. The staff really seemed to know their stuff and they had a lot of equipment to chose from (I didnt like the first board they gave me so they let me pick another.) more

Know their stuff 12/19/2005

I have been renting my skiing equipment at the ski renter ever since I've been in the area. I've probably rented from them at least 5 times and never had any problems. The staff knows what they're doing and they have information about where to ski and places to stay as well as the conditions. Price is pretty normal as far as renting skis is concerned i think, $109 for two people (skis, poles, and ski boots + insurance) Recommended. more
