Fontana Animal Hospital

This business is a complete monstrocity. It started when I simply called to schedule an appt for my dog which had double ear infections. The girl on the phone was rude and did not answer any of my questions. When I came in for the appointment I was not surprised to see the receptionist had a miniskirt on with blue hair whuich matched how unprofessional she was on the phone. The girl that took my dogs temp through his bottom did not even put on gloves or use a plastic covering applicator when she inserted the thermometer.. Wait it gets worse. The vet was late for my appointment and had a room full of dogs waiting to be seen by the time he came in. When he did see my dog, all he did was check both ears and tell me what i already knew.. "he had ear infections". The vet left the room and sent in the blue haired girl to go over what medications my dog needed. the medications came out to $500 which included sedation. I told her I could not afford that and asked what meds can I administer at more

I was going out of town for about 2 weeks and I took my "cookie" there to be boarded. They were cheap and they took excellent care of them. They were friendly to me and my dog. They answered every question that I had. I will use them again. more

I have been taking my dog to Fontana Animal Hospital for about 8 years now and I have never had a problem with the staff or the care that they have given my dog. I would be happy to recommend this vet to anyone. Great job. more

I took my cat in for her annual shots and she is always very skiddish when I do. When the nurse comes in she is always able to calm her down. They all are very caring and friendly. I will always bring my cat to Fontana Animal Hospital. Keep up the good work. more

My dog had a uterus infection & I took my dog to 2 places before coming to Fontana Animal Hospital due to high prices.I was referred by a co-worker & was told Dr. Zafer was a really good Dr. I was running late & the Dr. & asst. took me in right away & the next day she got her surgery. She is 13 years old & now she is back to herself again. Very very very happy she is well. more

We adopted Rocky, our English Black Lab, a year and a half ago. Since that time he's had kennel cough, a decent sized tumor on his side that's been removed (had to stay overnight at the hospital), a sprained leg from jumping off our retaining wall, had conjunctivitis (pink eye) thanks to a neighbor dog he plays with, skin allergies (itchy red flaky skin), and his regular shots every 6 months. Everytime I've taken him to Fontana Animal Hospital and had nothing but a positive experience with the Dr. and the staff. Rocky was always in good hands, the place is clean and well organized. We recently adopted Tebow, half English Lab and Great Pyrenese, of course I took him to get his check up out of the shelter and made sure he was healthy. He was missing one shot so we got him updated and he was good to go. The Dr. always makes sure we have everything we need (heartworm meds, frontline, etc) to be responsible pet parents.
