About Faithful Friends Welcome to Faithful Friends! We are a startup veterinary clinic focused on providing personalized attention to each and every animal we care for. We practice small animal medicine (dogs and cats), caring for their every need. We offer both in-patient care and an online store for purchasing medicine. You can get your pet’s prescription at the office after your visit, or you can order online to have it shipped to your house for year-round medications. We’re located in the Grover Strip Mall at 30 Mile Road and Van Dyke, so come on in to see us! The Faithful Friends Mission We’ve seen veterinarians who become too focused on the business aspect of their work and start to forget about why they started a practice in the first place. At Faithful Friends, our mission is to always treat each pet we care for as the individual, four-legged family member that they are. You will never feel like just another number at Faithful Friends, we provide top-notch attention and care to all of our beloved clients. About Our Veterinarian, Dr. Dietlin Dr. Becky Dietlin grew up in Armada and has been around dogs her whole life, starting with the large breed hunting dogs her family had when she was a child. She quickly realized her love for animals and wanted to make caring for them an important part of her life. Naturally, once she graduated from Armada High School and began to consider her career, Dr. Dietlin started on the path toward becoming a veterinarian. She attended Michigan State University for both undergraduate and veterinary school. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Animal Science in 2007, then earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. Dr. Dietlin spent the first two years of her career practicing large animal ambulatory medicine throughout the thumb of Michigan before moving onto small animal medicine exclusively. Since then, Dr. Dietlin has been practicing in clinics in the northern Metro Detroit area. Dr. Dietlin met her husband Bob, a lifelong Romeo resident, in 2012 and they were married in 2015. Bob works for Ford Motor Company doing behind-the-scenes work for the office, and they live in nearby Bruce Township. In 2016, they purchased their first Wire Haired Pointing Griffon, Oliver. In 2019, they purchased a playmate for Oliver (another WHPG) named Darla. In 2021, they adopted Simon, a Domestic Long Hair cat who was surrendered at a clinic Dr. Dietlin was working at. You may see Simon around the office now and then, as he and the dogs don’t always get along at home! In 2021, Dr. Dietlin decided the time was right to begin her own veterinary practice, and Faithful Friend Veterinary Care was born! We are officially opening our doors in the spring of 2022, and we cannot wait to meet you and your four-legged family members!
