Made a reservation for a ride to the airport and asked for the price. The phone operator said he didn't know the price. I expected him to put me on hold and find out the price, but instead he just kept quiet and seemed to wait for me to accept the fact that he didn't know the price and I should use the service without knowing the cost anyway. I asked him to find out the price and in his exact words he said ""It's $79.00 PLUS PLUS"". I asked him what ""PLUS PLUS"" meant and he sighed annoyingly and said ""Hold on"" with an attitude. He came back on the line and said ""It's $79.00 plus tolls, gratuity, and additional fees and charges."" Because that would explain it, right?! I asked again what is the estimated cost, the total I would be charged. You would not believe how annoyed the employee was acting when he put me on hold again. He finally came back and said all together the total would be around $135.00, which is a HUGE difference between $79.00 - ALMOST DOUBLE!
I gave Europe Limo the benefit of the doubt since they were suggested to me by a colleague, but the car that showed up was 2001 Lincoln Town Car with a very rude driver.
So this almost 10 year old car showed up after I waited 20 minutes after the office told me ""he would be on location in 3-5 minutes"" and during that time I called the office again, but they put me on hold for over 10 minutes (half of the time I waited for the car that would be there in 3-5 minutes).
We got to the airport (NOTE: did not use ANY tolls to get there yet I was being charged $11.00 for tolls) and I was forced to sign my signature to a blank ""voucher"" similar to a receipt.
I called the office to complain about the price, the tolls that I should NOT be charged, but AGAIN I was put on hold and FINALLY told a manager would call me back.
I've been waiting for the manager's call for almost 2 weeks.
Seems I've been put on hold indefinitely.
For $143.00 from Manhattan to Newark Airport for a 2001 Lincoln which arrived late and with much hassle is NOT worth it!
Be weary of this company and they're scams. Find out the TRUE cost of the ride ahead of time and ALL the details including car make/model and complete listing of charges.
I would not be caught dead sending this ""luxury limousine service"" for a client or use it to a regular basis & trust they would arrive on time so I could make a flight on time!
This company will cost you many clients, business deals, and other charges/fees out of your pocket for arriving late.
Pros: none that I know of
Cons: overpriced, old un-maintained cars, rude office/phone
