Fabulous, friendly, and affordable! 12/13/2010

Elements Total Health Center is FANTASTIC! I first went to them for acupuncture/massage that I got on a Groupon. But Roxy - the owner - was so great that I've been back twice for additional acupuncture and now I'm going for massage as well. Roxy is delightful, professional, and VERY easy to work with. And the massage I got last week was the most therapeutic massage I've ever had! The therapist really listened to me, focused on those areas that needed attention, and gave me the massage I needed - not just the routine massage that makes you feel like you've bought the standard recipe or pat formula. The atmosphere is professional but also warm and relaxing. And their prices are excellent - especially if you take advantage of the "Happy Hours." I highly recommend this place - you won't b sorry!!! more

Everything you need in one place 3/9/2010

As someone who has always had to drive all over town to get the services that I wanted, my brother suggested I find a practice that incorporated Acupuncture, Chiropractic and Massage. I was sold after my first visit to Elements. The staff is both friendly and knowledgeable. The fact that they also accept insurance is a further plus. Anyone in the area should check out the practice, and sign up for the monthly newsletters that provide updates on specials- Pros: Great - Acupunture, Chiropractor, Massage more

caring acupuncture and massage 2/14/2010

Roxy Han, my acupuncturist at Elements, is a classically trained acupuncturist whose treatments are straightforward and effective. (I didn't want muscle testing or some of the other new-agey things offered by some local acupuncturists.) The office is serene, clean and comfortable, and all the professionals there know what they are doing. There is plenty of free parking (at least in the evening when I go.) and they have evening and weekend hours. I have had one massage and many acupuncture treatments and they have all been of the highest quality. I first picked Elements because I live in South Pasadena, but I keep going there because their work is so good. I recommend their treatments without reservation. They are reasonably priced. They also participate in community activities, which I appreciate. Pros: very knowledgable and skillfull professionals Cons: none more

A hidden oasis! 2/9/2010

I discovered this place on google a long time ago and noticed they had a wonderful introductory rate for first time massage patients which I just couldn't pass up. I'm so glad I decided to try them! From the very first visit I felt welcomed and comfortable. Hannah, the massage therapist is WONDERFUL! I'm a bartender and have a lot of shoulder and leg discomfort and she always has me leaving feeling like jell-o! It's become such a treat to visit; something to look forward to. Very welcoming, super friendly 8/10/2008

I was getting massages at home about every few months, but then my Massage Therapist moved to San Francisco. Having a massage at home was very convenient, but not so relaxing when a fire truck with a blaring siren would drive by. So, I decided to look for a place to go to. I don't like those places that say "MASSAGE" or "ACUPUNCTURE" really huge outside their store front. Like most everything I find I started looking on-line. That's when I found the Elements Total Health Center web site. I liked how everything was explained and how they talked about whole health care. I made and appointment and drove all the way to Pasadena from Hollywood, and I'm so glad I did. The minute I walked in the place I felt very welcomed. The staff were so friendly and calm, it was great. My massage was incredible! I hadn't had a massage in a few months and the Massage Therapist got all the kinks out and I felt wonderful. I'm so glad I found Elements Total Health Center. Now I have a great, relaxing, comforting, knowledgeable place to go, away from the busy streets of Hollywood. more

From first-timer to true believer 7/25/2008

I came across an introductory massage discount, and on a whim decided to pay the Elements Total Heath Center a visit. That was five weeks ago. Since then, I've been back ten times; tomorrow, it will be eleven. On so many levels, Elements becomes a habit you can't live without! Pros: Expert therapy, soothing atmosphere, wide range of treatment options, convenient parking, an irresistible Australian accent Cons: Leaving & re-entering the default world, one massage tables creaks (it's a real stretch to think of ANY negatives!) ... oh, turns out that irresistible Australian accent is already happily married more

Amazing space, no wait, extremely accommodating & friendly practitioners 7/21/2008

I booked an appointment for acupuncture and they were extremely accommodating to my schedule. I didn't have to wait long, parking was pretty easy, and the clinic rooms have a really great feel to them - they are decorated with earthy and natural elements that made me feel more at peace as soon as I walked in. All the staff seemed really friendly and down to earth, they definitely made the effort to make a personal connection. On top of that, it was very affordable, I loved the treatment, felt much better over the next couple of days, and felt like the acupuncturist made a real effort to learn about me and my personal lifestyles in order to make recommendations that make sense for my body. Will definitely be back! Pros: Great price, down to earth staff, liked the decor more
