As always, I enjoyed my trip to Elayne James in Middletown. Always on time and in and out with my eyebrow wax. I've had many services there and have loved them all. Brittini C does wonders with my hair! Staff is always nice & helpful!! more

Faith is a great stylist. She's not only a sweet person, she's extremely competent and knows exactly how to cut my hair so the shape holds for weeks and looks great all the time. more

Its always a pleasurable experience starting with the phone call when making the appointment. The staff is always knowledgeable and friendly. I never have to wait long. And I am always happy with the stylist and the out come. more

Staff is really great. Two issues, they should provide an itemized receipt not just give a grand total. I want to know the breakdown of the bill. And second, I have no place to put my purse when I'm having my hair cut unless I put it on the floor, ICK!! It would be great if there were hooks on the wall by the stations. I like the specials they offer, & the coffee. more

All the staff is fabulous and the place is always clean! It is easy to find a convient appointment. Well worth the price. My hair dresser always is great and shows me new techniques. I always look forward to going. :) more

perfect brows 1/5/2012

Thank you Sheri. Now that I am "older" my brows are thinner and I can not see them as well to apply eyebrow pencil. Since you shaped them perfectly and dyed them, they look great all the time. more

Hair Cut for Two 1/1/2012

I took my sons girlfriend with me this time and Keleigh made her feel so special and wonderful she has been smiling for days. This is the first time I have found a salon and stylist that I feel totally comfortable with, and I have been a loyal customer for the past few years. The entire staff goes out of their way to make it a great experience and I have referred several people who are now repeat customers. more

Elayne James Salon/Middletown has the best staff...from the greeters to your hair stylist, they make you feel welcome and relaxed. My stylist,Ryan Pepe is in my opinion the best! He has a new assistant and she is very sweet and helpful all the way through the appointment. I always look forward to my hair appointments and enjoy every minute of it there. more

Coloring/Highlighting 12/25/2011

Keleigh did a great job and as soon as I stepped out of the car when I got home my husband commented how much he really liked how she colored, highlighted and cut my hair. My husband usually will say it looks nice but he was really impressed! I have received other comments as well. I am very pleased as this was I was looking for and Keleigh read my mind! more
