I have been JR's client for eight years and am very happy with my look each and every time I leave Ego.\r From coloring to cutting & styling for special events, they can do it all and you will leave looking & feeling like a million bucks! My hairstylist, Jessica, was just simply amazing. I went into the salon for the first time and had a vision of what my hair would look like. I explained to Jessica what I wanted and we went through a consult. I was impressed with her attentivenes to my needs as she had offered me coffee, tea, or water. Then I was further impressed with her execution of my vision. It surpassed all expectations and I was made more comfortable by her explanaition as to what she was doing with my hair. I got my hair done by Jessica and she is a very sweet lady, but didn't even cut my hair. I paid $55 for her to trim the ends. When I asked for more off she hesitantly cut more off, didn't trim my layers - when I asked, she said she did but it didn't look or feel like anything, and did a horrendous job on my bangs. I should have gone to SuperCuts and would have gotten a better cut. DON'T COME HERE - YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR MONEY'S WORTH and LEAVE DISAPPOINTED. STAY AWAY FROM EGO SALON!! I was introduced to EGO SALON from a complimentary visit card from Bally's... That's where I met J.R.!!\r \r Right away J.R. greeted me and took the time to talk with me about my hair and what I was looking for. \r \r --I have very 'textured' hair ... never been an easy client for any hair stylist my whole life. Most hair stylists have had not very nice things to say about my hair ... So, I was feeling very vulnerable about trying someone new. \r \r J.R. was great! He's such a professional and so fun to converse with! I have been going to Ego Salon for the past 2 years with Jessica as my hairstylist and I have never been so happy with how my hair looks and feels. My husband usually has a hard time finding a hair stylist that he likes - Since he went to Ego salon, yes the prices are a bit high, we havent turned back. We like the service, the people and the loud music is perfect. It is always clean when we go, they dont double book - which might be a reason why it never looks too busy... they like to focus on each client so there will only be one person for each hairstylist at a time... I decided to write this review because the person who had a bad experience called my friends and the people from Ego Salon losers... They are not. They are welcoming, young or young at heart with modern styles. If you ever want a great hair style go to Jessica - At least about her I can speak from personal experience that she is amazing. I have curly hair and have never had a person that can work with it. She on the other hand has not only made it healthy but has always given me a great cut, color and style. \r Pros: Friendly Staff, Modern Hairstyles, Great products, Clean, European flare Cons: prices a bit too high but worth it. more

as a highly interested person in fashion and interior design, EGO salon was by far one of the most beautiful salons i have ever visited. The salon is small and brings up a warm and very personal feeling. The staff there is very professional and friendly. The owner is fully committed to the salon to assure customer satisfaction. All my life my hair was thin and straggly. Iv been to many stylists and have gotten my hair cut by many people, Ego Salon is the best. more

What a bunch of losers! I always wondered why no one is ever in this place ( I go to Bally's gym, right across the way daily) and now I know why. I received a gift certificate from Bally's when I signed up for a free haircut at Ego. When I was there having my hair done, the owner had a fight with one of the stylists right in front of us clients! It was so uncomfortable, I had to tell my stylist to ask them to please take it outside. Even though they did, the clear glass made it evident to everyone, a huge fight was taking place as a war of words and gestures became our entertainment. It ended with the stylist getting fired. I would NEVER go back. The salon is dark, dingy, and it could be cleaner. The bathroom, although beautifully decorated, had a terrible odor. Maybe it was just for that day but I wanted to exit asap. The changing room has a shower curtain you can close but it offers little privacy since anyone can open it at any time. Parking is TERRIBLE at the Kaleidoscope and is a good reason NOT to go to this place. The receptionist is not friendly and way too young, she looks like a high schooler and I don't think she has learned how to deal with the public. I would tell anyone considering this salon to save their money (they are WAY overpriced) and to go elsewhere. Cons: terrible parking, unfriendly atmoshphere, all techno music too loud more
