Long story short, this is the worst gym that I have ever worked out at. Having spent time at Rocky Mountain Fitness, Idaho Athletic Club, Golds Gym, as well as multiple other gyms when away for college, I have seen the good and the bad that gyms of all kinds can throw at you. Fitness 19 in Eagle ranks at the bottom of my list. Granted, they may have some incredibly cheap prices, but you get what you pay for. The cardio area is decent, but outside of that you are in the dumps. The core workout area/stretching area is thrown together with poor equipment choices available (huge ab machines that have minimal adjustments and just take up space, old thera-bands that are either broken or so worn you are afraid to use them, floor mats that are too padded to do anything workout wise, etc etc). When you get to the weight section of the gym, it is an absolute disgrace. I havent seen such an unorganized area in all my years working out. Pathetic. Not one area has the weights in the correct position, and people leave the weights on bars and the floor all the time. I have spent multiple workouts just organizing the whole weight area, only to show up the next day - less than 24 hours later - and they were all messed up again. But dont worry.... the staff are incredibly busy texting and chatting with each other at the entrance so its understandable that they couldnt make a round over there every hour or so to keep the place organized. If I was the manager or owner of this gym, I would be incredibly disappointed with how lackadaisical and impersonable the staff are and how unorganized the gym is in general. Show some pride in your job! If you want my opinion, dont waste your time with this gym... spend 10 bucks more a month and go to a place where the staff are responsible, the gym is organized and clean, and they arent stuck up. more

I love F19 it's a great place to workout and at a great price. I started there in Dec of 08, I had never worked out in a gym before, and the staff there presented me with lots of smiles and help. I worked with a Personal Trainer there as well that helped me reach all my goals and I don't think I could have done it without her. She was very encouraging yet pushed me to do things I really didn't think my body was able to do! I've never had any problems with any of the staff, or the billing. My cc had gotten stolen at one point and they were very helpful and understanding til my new one came in the mail. more

Buyer beware. Fitness 19 fradulently altered my contract without authorization. They took funds out of my account that were not the amounts I agreed to in my contract. I have filed a police report for theft & fraud only to be informed that it is not a criminal manner unless they have done this to multiple people, so my suggestion to all, ask for a copy of your contract and check it against the copy you have. The staff is unprofessional, juvenile, and lacks customer service. I have an email from a Boise prosecuting attorney stating that cons like Fitness 19 should be sued civally, which I plan to do and Boise law states ""fraud violates all,"" meaning once they altered the contract, it is now null and void. I tryed to give the owner a chance to settle this out of court, simply refund any money that was paid to Fitness 19 from the day I entered the contract to the day I found the fradulent copy of my contract. Sadly for him, he declined. Unfortunately, for this fraud of a business owner, he should have accepted my offer which was simply to return all monies paid, but now it's time to play hard ball. My lawyer has been notified so if his wish is to play hard ball, he better come ready to play. Pros: Nothing Cons: Everything more

This would be a 5 star gym if it wasn't for the daytime kid's room attendant was at all nice to the children. On several occasions I have heard her yelling at children. My two daughters who have always loved going to the gym now cry and protest anytime I want to go in the day. Not a problem if I want to go at night or even on Monday morning when another attendant is working. Pros: Great value, place looks great, not too many people Cons: Staff is not very nice, kid's room attnedant is horrible more
