...at least in the early 80s. really nice, knowledgeable staff as well. i recall crossing the boulevard to get into dutton's when some choad in a white mercedes ran into the x-wal...

Just another bookstore. 11/17/2005

I heard a lot of good things about this bookstore so I went to visit it. They have the normal selection of books and sometimes hidden treasures if you search and return frequently. They are a great resource for unsusal or hard to find books. The business hours are a little unusual, three times I went and they were closed before 5pm, but if you love books and secondhand stores, then this is definately a place you want to check out. Warning, the parking lot is small and hard to get into and most people end up parking in the gas station next store. more

One of the last used book shops 9/27/2005

All the used book shops have been closing due to the large popular chain bookshops. Duttons, a local institution is one of the few that remains. They are a great resource for unsusal or hard to find books. Their staff is friendly and helpful and they have plenty of parking. more
