Dresser

My sister (the bride) and I walked into The Dresser a couple weeks ago for the first time. We had a really great experience with our consultant, Caitlyn. She was sweet and made me, my mom and my sister very relaxed. My sister found a dress she loved but was too nervous to purchase it on her first appointment. She never felt pressure or rushed. I thought this was the norm when shopping for such a big purchase but I have to say that we have since visited a few other salons in OC and I have to say they do not compare! My first experience trying on wedding dresses was terrible! So when I found The Dresser on-line I went with the notion that every Bridal Salon was their same. All out for the sale, pushy, rushed, and stalkerish. (yes, my first bridal consultant called me and emailed me consistently for two months after I met with her) Boy was I wrong on so many different levels. First of all its a darling Mom and Pop store in the heart of down town Fullerton. (I think thats wonderful) Its clean and very organized. They have the best team of consultants I have ever had the pleasure to work with. Ive been helped by all of them and I adore each and everyone. They are so patient and kind. I never felt like a number but more like a friend. Its one of the few places I would work for in a second. Anyways, I am very picky, being a wedding planner myself I knew exactly what I wanted. I have been there to try on dresses half a dozen times. I never felt like they were impatient or annoyed that I came in so many times to try on sooo many dresses. I found two that I liked and looked good on me but they just weren't what I was picturing. (BTW they have samples to fit any average girl) This past weekend I found the dress of my dreams at the Winnie Couture Trunk sale the Dresser hosted. I knew it the moment I saw it. The Dresser made finding my dress a great experience. I'm so excited to get my dress in June. I hope that every has this much fun finding her dress. At The Dresser YOU WILL! more

I went to two dress shops with my mother in Northern California, I thought I found the dress, but wasn't willing to commit at the time. I went to The Dresser, because it's near my office. I have loved the window displays for YEARS. I looked them up online, and they carried the designer of the dress I liked. They had me try it on with others, and helped me figure out that I was sure I wanted the dress I originally picked. Every time I went to try on the dress or go to a fitting they were on time attentive, and very proffessional. They were not pushy or selling me. They talked me though each of the steps and very accomodating to my time constraints. Very knowledgable. I wish they carried the sdesigner of the bridesmaid dress I picked, because I would have much preffered to work with them over ""the wedding day"" where I did get my BM dresses. The service at the wedding day was HORRIBLE . Pros: Attentive, professional, great service Cons: wish they carried more bridesmaid dress designers more

I highly recommend The Dresser! I had a great experience trying on dresses here. All of the ladies were very friendly and accommodating. I love the feel of the new store- open, uncluttered, and beautifully decorated. I love the back room with all the mirrors for family and friends to see the dresses you try on. I definitely had a great experience here and will be recommending this store to my friends who are looking for dresses!!! more

I read many reveiws about this store and realize you need to take anything on the internet with a grain of salt. I like to be an independant thinker so I visited on my own. I actually first went to their older store and since I had some time I decided to wait for the new grand opening of their newer store .It was worth it ! Pros: So many beautiful gowns to choose from ! I love the service. The new store is wonderful. Doesn't look like all the other places I have been too. The sales girls are amazing, I love how everything there is just one on one. I bought my gown there. When you walk into the store, the ladies there all know who you are. You are not just another customer to them, you now they care. People shouldn't walk into a salon demanding help, appointments should always be made just because your time is important just like their's and the customers that they are helping. To get the most benefit and best service you should always have an appointment, every bride deserves the one on one attention. Marianne, the owner is a great eye and she is honest. I am happy to know that when my gown comes in, I will be taken care of and that I have an expert taking care of my alterations. The Dresser is the best kept secret in Fullerton. I love The Dresser. I loved shopping in this store ! I worked with Diana and then the owner Marianne. I had the store all to myself /Mom and both these girls waited on me hand and foot like I was a princess.....I bought the most beautiful gown and it was totally something I would never have chosen...........Marianne has great taste and it shows in the gowns she has to offer.......Diana ended up picking out my gorgeous Anjolique dress and then she found a beautiful Montage for my Mom.............I had the best experience here and had only been to one other store before ( A big one) but felt I was right at home with The Dresser...I cannot wait unitl my dress comes in,, it is so exciting and I truly thank Diana and Marianne, and I totally would refer everyone to their store.........Thanks so much : ) Pros: beautiful mercahndise, friendly people, great customer service.
