Discount tire is pretty fair. I've been going there since the early 90's. I have horrible luck with tires but if I get a flat, they patch it. I've had so many in one tire that they replaced the tire for free. Had holes too big to patch, new tire. Got a new set for a 60's Vw I have and didn't like them.. Returned them and ordered something else. no questions. You basically only have to fork a bigger sum out when you blow a tire they cant fix. they can't fix it, you buy that tire at cost. all that depends on you're luck. ive had it go both ways for me. mostly good. Have wheels on lay away now for a couple of bucks down. And they have locations everywhere. more

I would pass Discount Tires multiple times to buy the $10 tire down the street every three weeks. One day I decided to roll in this place. They have layaway. Wow in this economy . I love that they did not push their most expensive brand and told me the difference between the high end tire and the low end tire. They have lifetime balance and tire rotation. They also have multiple locations around the country. I like this the most. If you get road hazard warranty, have them explain to you in detail because most tire shops do not patch a tire on the sidewall. The tire would have to be replaced. I paid a little a little extra on the warranty to cover this expense. ITS WORTH IT! more

Good and Bad 3/25/2006

I first came to this place because I had gotten a flat tire. So I waited about a good hour to hour and a half to get it checked. However, they did not find anything wrong. They also rotated the tires for me. After a few days the same tire which was now on a different side of the car got flat! So I went back and waited over an hour to find that there was a non-repairable flat and paid 100 bucks to get it replaced! I don't know if they ripped me off but be careful here! I would try another place if I were you guys! more
