The most horrible experience ever. The owner, Kim Jones, and his girlfriend manager, Jennifer Gessner, were both belligerent and rude. I called on a Tuesday to get a limo for Saturday. 45 min after my initial call, I had to cancel because of issues with too many girls going to the dance. Kim absolutely flipped out. Screaming at me about how he had a no cancellation policy, how I should have known that, and it was too bad for me - that he was getting my money one way or another. That if I reversed the charges he would take me to small claims court and win, he stated that he always wins. I said, hold up, you never explained any policy to me..... He became so loud and rude it was frightening. He continued on threatening me, saying he would sit outside my house, or I had to pay him more for a bigger vehicle. Ya right. Like I wanted him driving my children around at this point. He put his girlfriend on the phone who did nothing but scream about my ignorance and unprofessional behavior ( because Kim had said that during the time I initially called and when I cancelled, someone else had called to rent the limo and because of me he lost that opportunity...my suggestion was to call those people back and say he had a cancellation. This according to Kim was unprofessional and "stupid" behavior, that he does not call people back. I was really taken back by this comment. I know many doctors that do it, hair dressers that do it, orthodontist that do it, attorneys that do it....they all have cancellation lists). She then passed the phone back to Kim. Wow, being called ignorant and stupid by a limo company simply because within less than an hour I needed to cancel their service and rightfully wanted my money back. Since when are people forced to pay for services they did not render? At this point it's not really about the money per se, it is the principle. He never gave me any type of cancellation policy, I did not sign anything, initial anything, and nothing is posted on his website. His only concern during the entire initial conversation was to make a sale. However, he finally said since he had a week he would try to rent it out for the same amount and maybe would let me "off the hook." I decided to test that and had two people call in to ask about renting the limo for the same timeframe....he was, at that point, giving out the limo for half price or $250 and $300. He, though I didnt use his service, was never given a contract, a list of policies, or even a receipt, still charged me $525. He was never going to do the right thing and get another renter so that he would not charge me. He was trying to make additional money on top of the money he knew he was going to keep for free. I have now filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau, the WA state attorney generals office, my bank, and the WA state department of licensing. I will never NOR would I ever recommend this limo service. I would not trust him to drive anyone I knew or loved around town. His erratic behavior was nothing short of frightening and his customer service, or lack there of, leaves much to be desired as well. And one question....I see the owner, Kim jones, posted one of the only positive reviews on this site. It is appropriate for owners and managers to be posting reviews of their own company? Doesnt that defeat the purpose of a review. Guess some companies missed Ethics 101.
