Sycamore Veterinary Hospital opened its doors in February 1986.

For 20 years we have been providing quality service and veterinary care for our clients and patients. We have grown over the years and now have six veterinarians, three licensed veterinary technicians (nurses) and an excellent support staff.

At Sycamore Veterinary Hospital, we understand the importance of the human-animal bond and take pride in offering the best for our patients.

At Sycamore Veterinary Hospital We Have Up-To-Date Diagnostic and Monitoring Equipment Including:

* Isoflurane Anesthesia
* Sevoflurane Anesthesia (Used In 95% of Pediatric Surgeries Because of Its Safety & Smooth Recoveries)
* Respiratory Monitors
* Pulse Oximetry
* Blood Pressure Monitor
* ECG Machine

All of these monitors are helpful but none as reliable as our licensed veterinary technicians, who are with your pet every step of the way during your pet's hospitalization.

Licensed veterinary technicians (nurses) either have an associate or bachelor degree in animal sciences. They are licensed by the Board of Veterinary Medicine just as Veterinarians are.

Technicians are trained to assist the doctors in every aspect of veterinary medicine. It is important to state that technicians always work under direct supervision of a licensed veterinarian. Sycamore is very lucky to have three licensed vet techs that can help our clients and their pets with just about anything.


Drop off Service:

Sometimes it may be necessary to drop-off your pet for extended treatments, convenience, or if we are booked on appointments. We do offer a drop off service for a small fee. Please plan to arrive 5-10 minutes early to allow for paperwork and questions. This allows our doctors to become more informed about how your pet has been doing recently.
