Defined Fitness

The gentleman who posted the review below has been a nuisance to our business. He has been belligerent with our employees and has made members feel uncomfortable by the way he was behaving. We had to call the local police to have him removed from our store front, because he would not leave and was standing out front just yelling at everyone inside. As, for the sign it was within guidelines and the police told us that there was nothing wrong with its placement. They also, informed us that they have had numerous problems with the this same gentleman at other area businesses for similar type behavior. more

I have been running past Defined Fitness for a year or more. They have been putting this extremely heavy and awkward sign in the middle of the sidewalk for that entire time. I run with my son in a buggy and it is hard to move the sign, let alone the fact that they are covering the entire sidewalk. The workers inside have seen me move the sign for quite some time and keep putting it back in the middle of the sidewalk. \r \r Today I had to move the sign again a person that works there moved it back right in front of me. I asked him to please not put the sign in the sidewalk and he began yelling at me in public in front of my 5 year old. I explained it was a sidewalk and he said he does not care he will put his sign where he wants to put his sign. \r \r I then had another employee come out and start yelling at me. She also said she would not move the sign. I asked her to call the cops and she gave me more attitude and walked inside.\r \r I went to a business next door and called the police. They said they would talk to them and have it stopped. \r \r I think this business has a poor attitude towards the public and does not understand how to exist in a community. They think they are more important than the residents and want to live above the law. \r I also find it troubling that they are a fitness place and do not care about someone running on the sidewalk outside their establishment. \r The people seem cranky, arrogant, and irritable. \r I felt attacked and ridiculed for using the sidewalk in my community that is paid for with my tax dollars. \r \r It is a place as part of my local community that I will never patronize. more
