Great Finger Foods! 12/15/2011

Been here several times, and have tried several of their 'finger food' items. All have been outstanding. Some of the entrees aren't very good, specifically some of the sandwiches and wraps, but if you're looking for a few drinks and apps then this could be your place. I say could because the service is average at best. For the most part they have been friendly, but definitely less than attentative to the customers. more

Glad I found this place! 5/11/2011

Been once to drink and a few times to eat. Excellent! I love the chicken parm wrap and they have a wide variety of sides to choose from. Very large menu. The service is generally good and friendly, they refill your drinks without having to ask for it. Portion sizes are generous. I have no complaints. more

Salad is great if you can stand the Smoke 3/29/2009

When you walk into this restaurant the smell of smoke is so overpowering that it's a big turnoff. I hesitate to take my family there because the smell is so heavy even in the non-smoking section. I wish the outside seating was bigger and nicer. We ate outside and encountered ants. The positive is I really love their dinner salad, it's one of the best I've ever had with black beans, sunflower seeds and croutons. Pros: Salad Cons: Smoke Smell more

Great food, usually decent service 5/11/2008

The service here is on and off. Sometimes it's great. Sometimes not so great. There's been one time when we left before placing orders because of the service. But, for the most part, the service is quite acceptable. The food is a stand out. We often get together for family events here. The pizza is really good. I love, love, love the dinner salad. It's definitely not your normal dinner salad with black beans, sunflower seeds, homemade croutons. Really excellent. There is a wide variety of burgers and sandwiches which are among the favorites in my family. And they offer alll burgers using healthier bison burgers for a very small upcharge. My personal favorite is the pork loin dinner. The flavor of the pork is awesome and it's never been dry. The rice it's served with is also super flavorful. I was doing good at making my way through trying all the different meals offered but now I'm stuck on the pork loin. I'm not a huge fan of 'family restaurants' because I don't care for eating around a bunch of kids but Dooley's isn't too bad. The bar/smoking area is set off separately as is the game room for the kids so the noise is generally well contained. The tables in the smoking section are set fairly close together but the non-smoking section is quite spacious. The drinks aren't cheap unless you're getting one that's on special that night so we don't really go to visit the bar. Just the restaurant. And I would very much recommend visiting the grill part for the food. Pros: Great food Cons: Drinks aren't cheap more

Horrible food 3/25/2008

Service was poor, they seemed confused with basic workings of a restaurant. Looks like its JUST a place to drink, not eat. Food was prepared poorly, everything was either over fried and rock hard, cold and bland, or just inedible. Avoid this place at least until they get a decent cook! Pros: Cheaper than most burger places. Cons: The food. more

Just a wonderful restaurant! 9/5/2005

I went to this restaurant not knowing what to expect. It say BAR and grill but there are still video games for kids. I thought what a wonderful idea it's fun for the whole family without making it a typical ""family"" place. The menu is very extensive with fair prices. And the bar staff (it was a Monday, can't vouch for the other 6 days of the week) was increadible! I know I will be going for another visit. Pros: Great Menu/Food, Room for 1 to 50, Nice atomosphere Cons: There is only one more

Just Poor Poor Service 4/1/2005

We go here for happy hour (4-7). A girl takes our drinks order. Friends want a drink that is similar to a Dreamsicle that is made with Malibu Rum orange/pineapple juice/shot of white soda. The first drink was wonderful, the 2nd was a nightmare, it looked and tasted just like orange/ice hardly crushed. We ask for a shot $3.75, it took 15 min. to bring us and the shot glass was only half full it that. We told them to take the drink and shot back and off the bill. The waiter doesn't even bother to ask if she would like another drink, nor apologizes and the manager doesn't even acknowledges the problem. I believe this was very poor service and we will never go back there. Besides a cosompolitan was $6.00. The waiter only recieved a $2 tip out of a$45.00 bill. Mind you this was happy hour. Cons: too many kids, booths to small, service more
