Brought the car in to be repaired in August. Its now January and its still not completely fixed. Endless calls to the Service Advisor (have had 2 now) to find out status of orde...

Has taken 5 months to get car repaired 1/4/2012

Brought the car in to be repaired in August. Its now January and its still not completely fixed. Endless calls to the Service Advisor (have had 2 now) to find out status of ordered parts - usual response was ""I was just getting ready to call you, parts got in yesterday"". Calls to the Store Manager not returned. Used them because they were recommended by our Insurance Company. Worst service I've ever had. Don't know if this is standard for Service King, or just this location, but they suck. more

Not impressed 7/28/2011

I used Service King after some bad storms in April damaged the entire drivers side of my Flex. I was told it would take 2 weeks to fix my vehicle. They ended up having it almost 3 weeks and there were numerous things wrong. One of the new panels had scratches on it, the strip of chrome under one of the windows was crooked, there were paint bubbles on the roof, they damaged the sides of my front bumper taking it off, the front window jumps when rolled down, they scratched the passenger side of the vehicle, black stains on the seats inside and a very nasty tar smell. I understand there was a lot of work done to my car and they did fix most of them afterwards, but the workmanship was not up to the standards I was expecting for such a reputable company. I will not use this company again in the future. more

Solid company 7/14/2010

I was sent here by my insurance company, Nationwide, as they are a prefferred body shop and frankly, they're the only reputable shop I've ever heard of, so I had no problem driving there. The work was good, the service was as advertised and overall, I am happy with the paint and body work the did. The only thing I didn't understand is that there is another Service King right by my house but they weren't on the Nationwide program. Either way, the job got done with minimal headache and I can put this thing behind me. Pros: Easy process, good quality Cons: Out of the way more

Not even ONE STAR! 9/9/2009

This was horrible. It wasn't even my car, but his experience angered me so much I had to write a complaint. It was taken in for hail damage and when it came back: the bumper was cro0ked, the ceiling lining was torn (it looked like they just stitched it back horribly like no one would notice), the lining inside wasn't even stuffed back in correctly (lazy half a$$ job), BROKE a clip on the brand new grill, and scuffed it. When it was taken back to be fixed they inconvenienced him and told him the guy fixing it was on vacation and he had to bring it back next week. OK, Not just ONE guy fixed this car. Yeah, right. THEN they denied that they removed the grill, which is SUCH A LIE! There is no way they fixed/replaced the bumper cro0ked without taking off the grill. Believe me, I will let EVERYONE know not to go to Service King. Especially the one in Plano on Plano PKWY Pros: PDR Cons: LAZINESS more
