Conneaut Lake Park Inc

This is a little park that has been around for many years. These days it is really trying to stay above water. It is worth stopping in if you want a day that the family can spend TOGETHER. It is not like the big theme parks where everyone goes their own way. They have picnic groves and games and food and even a beach. If you want a look into the little parks of yesteryear then this is the place for you. more

When I was a kid, this was a really nice amusement park. These days the park is really struggling. We still really like the water park. The ride selection seems to be hit or miss. The list of down rides vary from day to day but at times can be rather extensive. Also there is the midway with the arcades and skeeball, food and other games. They have a little miniature golf, a train ride and a free beach. It is free to get in and a great place to go for a walk. The boardwalk along the beach is nice also. It is a great place to go for fireworks too. It isn't as good as the old days but let's try and keep it in business. It is still a very nice place to have around. more

This is an old fashioned little family park. It is a place where kids are safe to roam the park by themselves. Is is not a large commercialized theme park like most of the parks are these days. It has an old fashioned look and feel. May bore some people since it is not a big commercial park. If you want a nice relaxing trip to an amusement park where there are games and a roller coaster this is the place for you. more

I grew up going to Conneaut Lake Park, and believe me, it was a big deal back then. They have some great rides for a first timer, or for the person who loves some nostalgia. Some of my favorite rides have been torn down, and others put in the place. It's hard for such a small park to compete with the name brand parks and the mega rollercoasters within a days drive. But, if you are looking for a great way to spend an afternoon, and want a taste of more than a carnival, then this is the place. Don't forget to ride the Blue Streak. It's a kiddie ride to most coaster enthusiasts, but, when you are a kid it can make or break your love for rollercoasters. You can use tickets for the rides, or you can buy and all day pass. It's entirely up to you. There are also games, and lots of park type food. There is also access to a small beach on Conneaut Lake, which is a nice place to watch the boaters. more
