Great pace for train lovers 10/3/2005

This is a neat museum and different from the norm. The train yard has many trains that you can tour as well as a history museum and gift shop full of Thomas the Tank Engine stuff. You can also rent the red caboose for parties. The price is great and the people are interesting. more

Colorado Railroad Museum 7/18/2005

This is a wonderful place for families to explore trains. They have over 70 historic narrow and standard gauge locomotives and cars. Most of the trains you can climb on and walk thru. You can get in a big locomotive and work the gears and ring the bell or you can get in a caboose and climb up in the sleeping quarters. There is a wonderful building with lots of train memorabilia and a large model train running thru the countryside on the bottom level. more
