The worse service I've ever had with a company. A couple of months after my husband and I purchased our TV, it started having problems. We called the store we bought it at, but because it was too big, it could not be fixed in store and we were set up with Color & Sound. The repairman was scheduled to come out early October. That morning, instead of showing up, he simply called and asked what was going on, like nobody had passed on the information to him. He told me what he thought it probably was and said they would be ordering a part and left it at that. Two weeks later, no updates, phone calls anything. I tried to get in contact with him to find out what was going on, all I was told was they now have a tracking number, it should be here shortly, and that was it. A few weeks after that, still no updates. Throughout November my husband called several times trying to get an update on the part progress, nobody knew what was going on. They were confused why it was taking so long, and were even confused why the repairman had not actually been to our home to look at the TV. We were again told that they would look into it and get back to us, but that never happened. I called again in December, I was asked to email a copy of the receipt so they could talk to the manufacturer about just replacing the TV since this mysterious part was still not here. I asked them to please update me, at the end of the month I still had not heard anything. My husband made one more phone call and was told that he would be contacted within a week once they figured out was going on, again nothing. I finally called back the store we bought it at and told them what was going on and they will be fixing it themselves within a couple of days. This has been an incredibly long, incredibly frustrating experience. Save your sanity and even if you are set up with this company by someone else, find another place. more

How do they keep business 3/14/2011

I had an issue where my plasma tv lost picture completely, yet I still had sound. I called the manufacturer as the tv was only 6 months old. The manufacturer directed me to Color and Sound to schedule an appointment. I did so for several days later between 9am and 12pm.\r \r At 1pm on the day of the appointment, my wife called me at work stating that they had not arrived. I called Color and Sound and they stated that they were unable to find my home on Mapquest and therefore, did not come. I had some choice words for them, but non-the-less, I rescheduled for several days later. \r \r My wife called me on the appointment day stating the repair folks came and looked at it for 5 minutes stating ""it could be one of a dozen things, we need to take it back to the shop."" She had no issue with that, but the repair man refused to take the tv off the wall stating that my tiny 5'4"" wife would have to. When she stated she could not, they told her that she would have to call back and set up another appointment when we could have it taken down and waiting for them.\r \r At this point I was very upset, but could understand why they may not do this, although, they will take it from my living room down my steps and across my yard to their truck. So upset, I took the tv down and drove it to their repair shop. I was told the repairs would take 5-7 days. \r \r On the 6th day, I had not heard anything so I called, they stated that they had just looked at it and ordered the parts. They then stated that it would take 5-7 days for the parts to get in and repairs to be made. For the next 2 weeks I called on Friday inquiring on the progress of my TV. Both times I was told that the parts were not in and that it would be 5-7 days. \r \r Finally today, 3.5 weeks later, I called and she stated that the parts had come in late Friday and that the tv would be ready ""hopefully sometime this week."" I said, ""you cannot give me ANY idea when it will be completed?"" A stiff ""NO"" is all I received. I don't care if I have to drive my tvs several hours away for repairs, I will do so in the future if Color and Sound is the authorized repair shop. I'm looking at a 5 week repair turn-around time, if it is even ready when they state that it will be. If my past experience is any indication, it will not be. more
