BEST SALAD BAR in Central Massachusetts!! 11/4/2010

Recently dined at Chuck's Steak House and was pleasantly surprised with the amount of fresh salads and home made soups at the Salad bar. By the time my meal came out which was a Petite Filet which was cooked to perfection, I was so full from the salad bar I had to take the rest of my meal home with me and enjoyed it very much the next day. I also enjoyed a glass Renwood Zinfandal that I only paid $6 for!! Highly Recommended, great meal! more

Best of Both Worlds 11/4/2010

Chuck?s/Margarittagrill is absolutely the place to go if you?re into good food, good drinks and good ol? fun. The two in one restaurant has a lot to offer. The large fresh salad bar is my favorite which includes soup and bread, very yummy. They currently have $2 Margarita?s that cannot be beat. I personally love the Nachos Cowabunga which I?m convinced cannot be eaten by one person alone, but I do a damn good job trying. They have a great lounge area where you can play pool, gather with friends and enjoy the ambience of the fireplace. more

Best steaks and salad bar around! 11/4/2010

This is our first choice when taking friends and family to dinner for celebrations or just for fun casual dining. The menu is quite extensive and comes with all you want soup, bread, crackers and cheese and their famous salad bar. They also have a great lounge if there is a wait or if you just want to relax with friends. more

Best Salad Bar!! 11/3/2010

When we go to Chucks Steak House, it is really a good night out. They have the best, I mean Best Salad Bar around. The soup is really delicious too. Also, on the premisis, is a great Mexican Restaurant, MargarittaGrill. Even if you eat Mexican, you can still go over to the salad bar inside Chucks. They offer loaves of fresh bread and butter and two kinds of hot soup to go with your salad. Don't miss it. more

Greatest soup, salad and bread bar 11/3/2010

Chuck's Steak House is our family's favorite restaurant around. The atmosphere is awesome, comfortable and relaxing. The small rooms are cozy and warm and friendly, the food is excellent. We love the salad bar full of amazing different foods, awesome soups and delicious breads. My favorite is the raisan bread. They also have cheese and crackers if you would like to start of that way before the meal. The main courses are all so yummy and cooked always the way you like them. From steak to fish to chicken this is the best food, service and extras you always want in a restaurant. You will not be sorry and they always offer coupons to help out with the bill. more

GREAT STEAK AND SALAD BAR !!! 11/3/2010

If you want a great steak this is the place to come !! The steaks especially the prime rib are excellent !! The salad/soup/bread bar is always fresh and stocked quickly. If you love onion soup then you must try it here!! The good thing is you always have a doggie bag because you get full from the salad bar because it is so good !!!! If you haven't tried Chuck's Steak House yet make it a priority !!! more

Fantastic Food, servive and drinks. A great Value!! 8/25/2010

We just love it there. The soup & salad bar is included in all the meals that start at $15.95. there was a great $2 margarita special as well as a $2 draft beer of the month. The prime rib was the best I've ever had!! Really. The service was flawless. I cant think of a thing I would change. it really is a must!!! you wont leave disappointed or hungry. more

  • Yes, there really is a "Chuck", and his name is Charles "Chuck" Rolles. Chuck graduated from the Cornell Hotel and Restaurant School in 1956, and then moved to Hawaii, and in 1959, opened the first of a number of restaurants that bear his name in Waikiki. After opening his second steak house in Waikiki, he was the first to bring the steak house and salad bar concept to the Continental United States. Ken Williams was the first of Chuck's partners to bring the concept to the East Coast.


    Customers fell in love with the informal atmosphere, the open grills, all you could eat salad bars and high value concept. By the combining of the finest aged Western choice beef available, with the open hearth cooking, Chucks Steak House has long established a solid reputation.


    The process begins with our beef purveyor, second generation we might add, who painstakingly selects the very best USDA Western choice beef. This superior quality will always ensure high degrees of marbling, the essential ingredient responsible for the terrific flavor of our beef. He then carefully controls the aging process in our warehouse, and when the beef is ready, he distributes it solely to Chucks Steak House locations. Our beef is always fresh and the steaks are cut daily right here.
