Low cost excellent Sevices 12/13/2010

My poor Baxter a 2 year old Pomeranian was coughing since March, Tried every thing took X_Rays, treated with different antibiotics, blood work was negative for Valley fever. Finally on the recommendation of my friend I went to see Dr Sandhu. Hospital was clean and staff was very co-operative.Dr Sandhu looked the X-Rays taken by the other Vet. examined Baxter very good and told me he suspect Valley Fever even though the blood work came negative. He started on fluconazole. Baxter stopped coughing in a week and started eating drinking back to normal. He send the blood work for recheck in 4 weeks and this time Valley Fever came back positive and confirmed his diagnosis. I was really surprised with his diagnostic skills. The prices compare to the other two places I went to were much lower. more

I have my maltese suffering from constant cough for 6 months, Went to 3 different Vets. Spend money on rads, blood work but didn't work. My Neighber refred me to Dr Sandhu. He looked at the old X-Rays and examined the Rose very closely. Told me he had possible left side congestive heart failure and started the medicines. It surprised me my little Rose improved next day and in few days back to normal.Dr Sandhu is wonderful Vet. more

Horrific 9/8/2010

If I could give this place negative # of stars, I would. My cat came in with what we later found out was a scorpion sting (we found out from another vet). \r \r When we bought our kitten in, she got under the sink, and sliced her little nose open on something under there. Then, the "vet assistant" (who looks about 14) "cleaned" it with kleenex. She cleaned an open wound with cheap kleenex. \r \r I complained to the vet and he acted like it was no big deal that my kitten, who was already bloated and couldn't walk, got a huge cut on her face from his exam room. Which, by the way, looks like it was last updated pre-Vietnam war era, with furniture from a mobile home. \r \r Secondly, I brought in a print out of a webpage where it says a free first visit- no such thing. They "FORGOT" to change it. They said I'm the first one who has asked about it. I'm calling BS + false advertising on that. So then I asked about the $25 office visit, but since I didn't have a printout of it, I couldn't more

Great vet saved my cats's life 11/14/2008

I brought a cat home from the animal shelter. After a few days she became terribly ill. I came home from work to find she started vomiting, sore looking eyes, stopped eating and could not drag herself off the bed to the litter box. She simply couldn't move. \r \r I thought for sure nobody would be open at 7:30pm so I started calling all the vets in the area hoping to find someone. After calling about 8 vets I happened to call Christown Animal Hospital. Would you believe they answered the phone at 7:30pm and told me to bring her in right away?\r \r Once I got there I was told she had ear mites, fatty liver disease, dehydration and would need to be tested and hydrated. They brought her into another room, gave her an IV, took ear samples, tested them in their inhouse lab and applied the necessary medication. The entire visit only cost about $180 including antibiotics. \r \r They saved me a visit to an emergency animal hospital and possibly saved my cats life by properly diagnosing more
