China Pan

The staff is rude and the place is dirty and the food was substandard. I went here becuase of the good reviews I seen from a couple of peopl eon here. I don;t know if it is under new management or what but my expereince was Terrible with a capital ""T"". IN all of my years I have never been asked to leave a resturant because it was ""nearing"" closing time. the resturaunt closes at 9:30 pm and at 9:15 the manager came up to my table and said we need you to leave because the staff needs to go. I explained I was still eating and that the resturant is supposed to be open until 9:30 and she said ""I know but we need you to leave"". WOOOOW!! I think that gets the award for worst customer service in any category for the entire city. Needless to say I wont be back. Aside from their rudeness, the place was dirty. The ice cream scoop even had a hole eaten in it. Yes I don;t know how that is possible and it had something that looked like mildew or black slimy like stuff collecting in that hole. its kinda hard to describe but it looked really nasty ansd funky. How much could a new scooper cost less than 5 bucks that is ridiculous. Also their other utensils that we delivered to my table were unclean with like caked on food on them. I had to request two forks to get one that was reasonably clean to eat with. First off let me say I am not hard to please and I am not a clean freak, in fact I am very messy myself so for ME to say it was dirty in there it was really dirty in there. I think the heatlh dept should pay them a visit gets sick. In regards to the food much of it was merely room temperature as opposed to being warm like it should be. The food was below average from what I have tasted around Nashville. There are so many much better chinese resturants that have better foo, service, and cleanliness than to waste your time or hard earned money on a crap shot with these people. Consider yourself warned. more

I love it! My family and I moved down here in July and this was the first restaurant we've been to and we still go to it at least once a week or more. The foods are just absolutely delicious. The staffs are all very nice to us and friendly. They listen to our opinions and ask for our advice to make things better. Two weeks ago, there was no oyster and they promised to have them the next time we come back and they did! They are a restaurant who keeps their promises and would not lie about their products. As for the cleanness, i have no idea what that guy is talking about down there. We've been there all these time and we've never seen a roach or any of that sort. Even if you did experience any of that, you cannot blame them for it. I used to live in the North, and oh trust me, there are roaches everywhere. And they said they spray twice a week? Maybe they did spray the medicine when no one was eating and they just suddenly came out because they smell the medicine. You cannot control those pest. more

This buffet is the opposite of the big one up the street. This is cozy, a little more quiet, and most of the seating is booth style. They have a neat pond in the front, with live fish. The sushi bar is better than average, and they have a hibachi grill. The chinese buffet is pretty typical, Maybe 6 or 8 islands, not as large as some but decent. Pros: All around decent buffet more
