Chez Nicole

I haven't been there in years, we had an office party there and they were great! The service was great they were quick and when we had extra people show up very accommodating. The food was great can't wait to go back. more

My wife and I attended a funeral luncheon on Sep 8. The food was good and the wait staff was pleasant with the exception of one. She was VERY unpleasant and appeared as if she didn't want to be there. She also was not tolerant of handicap people of which there were two there and for that reason we would never recommend or come back to the restaurant. more

My experience with Chez Nicole was absolutely horrible! I really do not know how they are still in business. I was a bridesmaid in my cousin’s wedding and they had their ceremony and reception at Chez Nicole. Let me start out on a good note, though – the venue and the landscaping behind the venue was beautiful. The only thing I (and the other guests) had a problem with was the staff. First of all, when the bride and us bridesmaids arrived at the venue we wanted to head to the bridal suite in order to freshen up and relax a little before walking down aisle. According the staff, the bridal suite is not supposed to be used at all because they almost refused us access to the suite beforehand. Call me crazy but isn’t the bridal suite supposed to be for the bridal party to relax and touch up their hair and make-up before pictures are taken? Additionally, the bridal suite was a bit dirty, and when I went up there to cool off in the middle of the reception, I noticed that they turned the air conditioner off. I turned it back on again only to find that someone turned it off AGAIN! Second, my cousin had the wedding ceremony outside. I found out from one of the groomsmen that when he informed the staff about the bird poop on some of the seats, they said to him, “I’ll give you a towel and you can clean it up”. Of course, he refused and said that he would if he was one of the paid staff. This particular incident really angered and shocked me. Throughout the whole ceremony and photo session the staff was rushing us and the guests and just seemed to be very annoyed by us holding an event there! They tried to change around the set up and instructions we received from the pastor about walking in during the ceremony and gave us a lot of attitude when we told them that we were not supposed to do what they were saying. Then, after the ceremony, we were greeting the guests that were coming in and one of the waitresses kept staring at us with an agitated look on her face because the guests actually wanted to see the bridge and groom! As for the reception, the staff moved the bride and groom’s events around in order to rush the party. Only about 10% of the guests actually got a piece of cake because they took the cake back just as soon as they served it! If you happened to be dancing to one song while they were serving cake, you didn’t get a piece! There were two bartenders and one of them was very unpleasant and did not seem like he wanted to be there at all. He would refuse to make some drinks for guests and push them over to the other bartender, roll his eyes, and even snapped at a guest, “We aren’t doing any more shots!” when she just walked up and wanted a soda. Plus, he made crude remarks about the women at the reception to the other bartender. Finally, when the reception was over, the bride and groom were saying goodbye to their guests and the staff flipped the lights on and off to signal that it was time to go. I thought that was very rude and embarrassing. Then, the staff kept bothering the bride and the bridesmaids to get our stuff from the bridal suite. When we walked up the steps, the owner was standing there, waiting for us, and kept telling us to “Hurry up”, “Pack your stuff”, and “It’s time to go now”. I have to add that none of us were taking a long time or just goofing around at all. I could understand that treatment if we stayed an hour past our time and were just goofing around but that was not the case. I would NEVER recommend Chez Nicole unless they fired their whole staff! They really need to turn this place around or it will be shut down. more

Will not be going back. The owner is a good sales person, but they fell flat at the event. The place is clean but in need of some fixing. Needs a new manager, she is very unpleasant. Bar cost is extremely high. Would tell my friends go some where else more

Good Italian food at fair prices for good food. The meals are prepared nicely and the portions are filling. The atmosphere in the dining area is pleasant. Pros: Chef will make special dishes on request Cons: Nothing negative. more

Recently I had an event at Chez Nicole and I was very disappointed. At the end of the night I received a bill for much more than I had agreed upon. I had a contract however the owner insisted that I agreed to pay incurred charges at the bar. I was very upset and embarassed - the owner argued with me in front of my remaining friends and family and I was humiliated, she refused to speak with me privately and was very loud and obnoxious. Before this I was already embarassed by the conduct of the owner and wait staff; the owner was even acting as a waitress that night which I thought was odd. They demanded that my guests sit down or they would not be served - the owner told my guests directly that if they didnt find their seat immediately they would not be getting dinner. Most of the guests at my event were not of legal drinking age and they were served by the bartender and owner without my knowledge. I would not have been able to forgive myself is something had happened to the children of my friends and family - I had quite a bit of apologizing to do the next day.\r In a nutshell, Chez Nicole is no place to have an event, they are unprofessional and lack the neccessary customer service skills to create an event especially one that is supposed to provide a lifetime of good memories.
