Best of everything! Fariba (I have nicknamed her Riba so as not to be confused with her sister Farima at the same Salon) does everything top notch. She listens to and then executes specific instructions beautifully. I allowed five months to pass between appointments last time and she had done such a fabulous job with my highlights/lowlights and cut that my hair grew out for that long still looking stylish. She also does a beautiful job with waxing. She only cleans up the natural shape of my eyebrows and they come out perfect every time. And, might I add, without pain. I highly recommend her for your next hairstyle! more

the best salon in town 1/30/2006

I moved into Beaverton 3 years ago. after being here for one week I needed a hair cut and color. I stopped in to see if I could get my hair done and hit the right day because their was a cancallation, that was the first day I met Farrimah one of the owners of the salon, My color and cut was the best that I have ever had. I was from the Boston area for over 40 years and was never treated so friendly and warm. My hair looks great and the color matches me to a tee. I'm so glad that I found Checkers Salon, we all know how hard it is to find a salon, try moving and knowing nothing about the area. As long as I live in Oregon I will always go to Farrimah to have my hair done. more
