Had dinner at Cecil's last night. You could tell it was a Texas Style the moment you walked in the door. The smell is like on others, and the line is a Texas standard. If I stopped there I would it would say it was the best ever in Orlando. Service was very good, polite and helpful. The brisket was moist and tasty, the baked beans were some of the best I tasted, the sweet potatoes on the other hand, did not stand up to the other standards. The ribs were good but not the best, a bit on the fatty side and did not fall off the bone the way I like ribs to do. (A sign of slow cooked) The ceasar salad was really bad, too much garlic and dressing, the greens were wilted to no end. The chicken was dry and not very good. I took it home and steamed it, this brought back the moisture and was very good this way. As for the ice cream, it is a nice touch, but I would skip this soft style, it lacked the creamise of a Dairy Queen.
Pros: The true fell of Texas Barbecue joint, sauce were very good.
Cons: Stay away from the ceasar salad
