Best	Two thumbs up! Cats Limited is amazing. I love all of the staff - absolutely amazing and caring. I wouldn't go any where else.
Worst	Not a good place for cats Please do not take your cat to this clinic. I needed a new vet. My vet retired. I am not sure of the compentency of these doctors but I do not ever want to return with my cat. B...

We recently moved to the area and were looking for a vet that could accomodate our kitty and all of her special needs. Cats Limited was amazing. Everyone was kind, the doctor was so sweet. The facility is gorgeous. We will definately be returning. more

Cats Limited is the best! 2/22/2011

I was looking for exceptional care for my cat and I found it! The staff and doctors are so caring. My cat was vomiting and had a fever. They explained the fees and estimates to me and told me what they should do and why. They weren't out for my money- they wanted the best for my little man and so do I. I think anyone who has an issue with the cost, shouldn't have an animal to begin with. more

I have been taking my cats to Cats Limited for 5 years now and I wouldn't take them anywhere else. I had all six cats spay, and neutered there. The laser that they use is awesome- in all my years of owning cats I have never seen them bounce back from surgery that quickly. They are modern, well equipped and extremely knowledgeable. The people are easy to get along with, speak to and ask questions. You're going to pay for the best, if that's what you want. more

HORRIBLE 9/23/2010

AWEFULL!!!!!!! my male cat started peeing on the carpet and rubbing his butt on it. I called them and they kept telling me how urgent it as that I bring him in. I had a money issue and couldnt pay them right then and there and they told to to apply for a credit card called care credit or they wouldnt see him even if it was an emergency and they couldnt help me to go to the vet er down the street who also requires a credit card. I was freaked out and ended up going to middletown even though I live right in hartford. A place called Pieper olson memorial hospital, not only did they not charge me to see him right away but worked with me as far as billing and even kept him overnight the first night free of charge to make sure he was okay. DONT GO TO CATS LIMITED more

I had heard good things about Cats Limited in the past and just found out they moved locations (I thought they closed down!) I was going to another Vet that I wasn't crazy about, and my cat started acting strangely so I brought her to Cats Limited. I found the drs, techs and front desk staff to all be very pleasant and professional. You can tell that they care about your cat. I don't understand some of the other reviews, but I have not had an experience like theirs yet. I don't think Cats limited is that much more expensive than a "regular" vet. In fact, when I got the treatment plan for my cat who had some dental issues, I thought it seemed high and so I called another vet, provided the details and asked what they thought the charges would be. They came in almost exactly the same. Unfortunately, just like human health care, vet health care is just as expensive, if not more. Shameful!!! I recently moved to the area and called to make an appointment for my cat who seemed to be not feeling well. I was told he had a fever and it would be $1400 to find out what was wrong with him, but he could only stay till 1pm the next day because they would be closing. I was then charged a $90 fee for an emergency visit, yet they do not perform emergency services. I was not advised when I made the appointment that they considered this an emergency, I was also not told the cat would then have to be transferred to an emergency center the next day. Their prices are exorbitant, perhaps they should focus more on animals and healing and less on appearances. more

Caring professionals, in my experience. 8/23/2009

While they are sometimes expensive, I have found that the tests they suggest are very helpful, and an ultrasound discovered a tumor in my cat's intestine that would normally not have been found until it was too late to operate. They did not hesitate to refer me to someone with more experience with the type of surgery required, which tells me they care more about the cat than the money. Their staff have been nothing but caring and helpful now that my elderly cat is in her final days, and have gone above and beyond what is required in making sure that I'm ok as well as my cat. They are perhaps more expensive, but they are truly committed to caring for the animals. I have had some nightmarish experiences with the front desk staff at their competitors, and am grateful for the caring desk staff and vet techs at this veterinary practice. more

Cats Limited Veterinary Hospital is very disappointing 6/19/2009

Very disappointing. Had to take my cats in for annual exams, vaccinations, and ID chip. They put on a LOT of pressure for unnecessary and expensive tests (e.g.: blood pressure testing for a *very* healthy cat, mandatory stool samples for cats that are 100% indoors and have never had worms, etc.). They even wanted me to do an ultrasound on a cat with a one-time history of kidney stones which were well managed and who is not having problems now. And for all that, I didn't feel like the cats got better care than any other vet I've taken them too. Also, the fees for each item are higher than other local vets. It's like they're trying to pay off whatever loan they must have taken out to build the nice clean facility. more

We've recently moved to CT and used to take our cat to a feline only hospital and were so happy to have found Cats Limited Veterinary Hospital. The staff and doctors are so nice, everything is so clean, and her needs are always explained to me. I'm glad they value heartworm prevention, most places don't. We wouldn't take her anywhere else! more

We have been bringing our kitty to Cats Limited since we first adopted her over a year ago. Our kitten had a rough background and could not be around dogs or other animals, so when we found Cats Limited we were very excited! And the service there is by far the best that I have ever had. I have had many cats over 20years so have had many different vets, but now that I have Cats Limited I will NOT go anywhere else! I highly recommend Cats Limited to EVERYONE that I know and I stand by then 100%!! And our kitty loves going there and everyone there is very personable. There was one time that our kitty needed emergency care and her usual Dr wasn't in so she had a different Dr that day...but she was just as nice and gentle as our usual Dr. And it was as if she had been working with our kitty since day 1 because she actually took the time to read up on our little kitty! Their last place was a nice, clean and comfortable environment...but their new place is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! They are very more

This is the Vet we have taken our cat (Gemelli) to since he was a kitten. They are a great group of doctors and very friendly and personable. I like that dogs and other animals aren't allowed there. They also offer a great selection of prescription cat foods which our cat loves. Highly recommended! more

This is the vet where we always bring our cat for the past 3 years. they are always exceptionally polite and helpful and take great care of our cat. they are very direct in telling us about our cat's health and make good recommendations on how to improve her health. more
