We come to Castaways all the time because we love the prompt, nice service and the food is excellent. Beautiful sunsets too.

Worst

When we got to the restaurant we expected that we would miss the sunset at 8:30.... Boy were we...

A few months ago, when the weather was much warmer, I had the chance to eat at Castaways On The Lake and I am so happy I tried it out. I was with a big group and they were able to keep up with us. The food was great and the view was out of this world. more

My wife and I went here for the first time and had a wonderful meal. After just one visit it's probably our favorite seafood restaurant in the Rochester area! Who would have known that we have such a gem right here in our own backyard? We will definitely be returning again this summer. more

We've come here to eat many times. My wife and I love the 60's and 70's oldies, but we REALLY appreciate that the volume of the music is reasonable - we can hear ourselves talk! One area to improve: move more tables out to the lakeside! more

Can't Wait to Go Back 8/26/2014

My husband and I ate at Castaways for the first time and we loved it! The view was spectacular and the french onion soup and chicken french were excellent. It was a nice change of pace to not be hurried along and actually encouraged to stay and relax awhile. We'll be going back very soon. more
