Now called ""Carlita's Day Spa"" in Independence, Ohio\r Walked in for a 90 minute massage after a hard job, to my surprise and perhaps should have sparked suspicion was taken right away. The open at ceiling (not private) room were loud and loud music and conversations happened during my treatment. On the table my necklace was still on so I handed it to the masseuse, after I dressed in the very dark room (no light to turn on) I continued to have a pedicure and a wash and blow out, so I was there for more than a hour more. When I arrived back to my hotel I noticed I wasn't wearing my necklace, I immediately called but they were closed, I left a message and then went back first thing in the morning, to guess what NO necklace. The owner is a horrible human being, when I called the next day to check in she had her ""manager"" threaten me on the phone if I leave a bad review. \r BEWARE more

Went to Carla Bella's new location in independence today and absolutely loved it!! Everyone was super friendly and the services were worth every penny! I have bad back problems and went in for a massage and left there feeling better then I've felt in a long time. The therapist was very specific to my needs and that was really appreciated. I can't wait to go back again! more

When I had gotten a haircut with a very professional worker ""Lee"", she did my hair just the way that I wanted. I have went to little places like Best Cuts and other salons, but this one is just special to me. The workers there are very ready, professional, and ready, and when you walk in they will provide you with warm tea, water, coffee, ETC. Anyways back to the haircut, my arms were aching and then another worker Misty came over to massage me when she had overheard me saying that I was aching. I would definitely recommend this Spa and that was my first time going there. Now I have seen the earlier posted comments about the owner being like that, now that makes me disappointed. Those people that think that are just jealous that she has what she has, and I am still going to that spa and that spa only. I am Miranda Fulgner and I live in Brecksville by myself and I just feel more ""like home"" when I step into that spa. Thank You!! more

Carla Bella day spa is one great place. People complain but those are the ones that are never satisfied about anything. She has a great staff that makes sure the clients are happy. She does have here license to provide her services. People are just mad because she has things going for herself that they want. I enjoy the time I spend at the spa. You should go in the spa for a massage to relax yourself. more

Talk about slander! Aaron T. sounds like he certainly does have an axe to grind---disgruntled former employee perhaps?\r Former jilted boyfriend? Jealous hater? Enough already. \r \r Carla is a genuine person who has the courage and raw talent and the needed business acumen to run a spa in order to support her family of five children, without spousal support mind you, in Brecksville--so quit with the libelous/slanderous talk---she is a business person who is doing an incredible job in a stark economy ---her children love her and know her and know that she has plenty on her plate--to be so loose with the tongue and throw around false accusations such as these found in Aaron T.s comment or ""tip"" is downright cruel and shouldn't even be posted, as they are outright libelous and slanderous --the accusatory tone of this ""tip""\r smacks of a hater who is jealous and delights in trying to ruin peoples' reputations both personally and professionally.\r \r Carla is a strong and capable businesswomen forging a path in the oftentimes cutthroat spa business. She does superb work.\r \r Aaron T. ---where is your humanity? Carla is a beautiful woman who knows her business. She does wonderful work on nails and has a fabulous touch when doing her trained-for legal hand and arm massages. She has helped launch many a career into the beauty and spa industry and many are grateful for her having given them a chance for a start in such a cutthroat and catty business.\r \r She is an asset to this community of Brecksville and we support her efforts as a businesswomen here. She helps with charity work, giving her time freely and without strings attached--she has contributed to the economy of Brecksville for at least a decade now, and we appreciate her efforts.\r \r The haters need to take a good, hard look at themselves and think twice before posting untrue accusations such as these. Where to begin...? Carla Renee Horoszko may be without a doubt the WORST businesswoman EVER and definitely the slimiest, most fake person you will ever cross paths with. Her ""positive energy"" schtick is all b.s., treats her employees worst than her customers (if that's even possible!), curses at and berates her brood of children publicly inside the spa and in the adjoining parking lot. This is not a simple axe to grind, Carla is simply put a vile human being. She methodically plots to bilk clients out of money through over-pricing or services that they don't need, and never pays her employees correctly or on-time (maybe that's why the employee turnover is NEVERENDING!!!!!). Carla is all pumped-up cleavage and phony charm: she can talk and talk and talk while spewing how great her spa is but there is not one ounce of substance under that fake smile. She has private male ""clients"" that she spends hour on end with in the massage room, ""clients"" that are not in the appointment book at all and then receives hundreds of dollars in payments from these men....all done with a wink and smile and with nothing even remotely resembling a massage license. I think Brecksville's finest might have an issue with that one. She's totally shameless about it. Carla knows what she is. Buyer BEWARE of this place! Carla Renee Horoszko is a menace!!!! To think she has plans to move her place to Independence...whatever sugar daddy is fronting her the money for that is a true chump. She'll bilk him blind, too! more

This place was HORRIBLE. Her 4 year old daughter was there and running in circles the entire time! I went to get my hair highlighted and before hand asked what the total would be exactly so i could get money from the bank. Then when i went to pay she charged me an extra 50 because they put extra high lights in without even asking me! Then she charged me 30 to blow dry my hair, even when there was no styling involved. The ONLY thing this woman cares about is money, not customer service! Dont even bother! more

My first and only experience with Carla Bella Day Spa was a COMPLETE DISASTER!!! I purchased a 1-hr aromatherapy massage for $62.50 on DealChicken from Carla Bella Day Spa on 3/17/12. I made my appointment 3/19/12 @ 4:43pm with the owner and she asked me how I heard of the spa and I said ""DealChicken"". She told me to make sure I brought in the ""2nd page"" and I told her that I only had one certificate from the website that I printed out. I had my appointment this afternoon scheduled for 4:30pm and I was 6 minutes late. The therapist talked to me for a few minutes in the room and then said she'd ""be back in 4 minutes"", which turned into 10! Then she ended the massage at exactly 5:20pm according to my cell phone and said, ""that went quick didn't it?"" When I got to the counter and presented my certificate, she said that they were all cancelled and refunded and I needed to pay full price ($125) plus tax!!! I was confused and caught off-guard because this was the first I had heard anything about it. I asked if we could call DealChicken and she said I could call myself, but didn't give me the number. I asked her if she knew why it was cancelled and she said that she was just the therapist and didn't know anything. She went back to the back room twice (where the owner was apparently doing a pedicure) and made me wait almost 10 minutes for her. When she got back, I said that I needed to go outside to get the number (from my computer in the car) and make the call. I tried to get out the front door (which was propped open when I arrived) and it was closed and locked. I tried to unlock and open it and then the therapist said, ""If you walk out the door without paying then you know that's theft and I'll have to call the police"". I was appalled and actually had my fight or flight kick in because I thought they were trapping me somehow! I asked the therapist how many people they had done this same thing to today and she said nothing and didn't bother to come from behind the desk to help me with the door. I was scared and so I called 911 and the police came to the scene minutes later. The therapist certainly moved fast when she figured out who I was one the phone with and next thing I know the owner is on the phone with 911 dispatch and standing at the front desk! One of the officers took me outside and admitted that this business has had numerous complaints. He told me that I was not in the wrong and that the owner said she said she wants to sue DealChicken. UNBELIEVABLE!!! I never got a phone call or email from Carla or DealChicken referring to a refund and still haven't. The owner told the officer that she knew as of 3/19/12 @ 4:30pm that the certificates were going to be cancelled. So, why did she book my appointment less than 15 minutes later?? She also had several days to call me to give me the option to cancel and had an opportunity when I arrived to let me opt out of the massage. After this awful experience, I feel they were trying to scam me for only a 35 minute massage. In fact, they should pay me for all the stress they put me under! I am shocked and dismayed how fraudulent this establishment is!!! Why did they lock the door again?? So creepy! more

Went into Carla Bella Day Spa today and had a great pedicure. Normally that is not my thing, but I had met Carla and she convinced me to try it. I actually really enjoyed it, it was quite relaxing. The view from the pedicure room what really nice, I still can't believe how much I enjoyed it. I will probably go back in the future for another one. Pros: Great service! Cons: none that I saw more

As a prominent businessman in Ohio, I have finally found the best place for complete spa services. It's the Carla Bella Day Spa in Brecksville. I have very precious little free time so when I do take the time to schedule a massage or pedicure and manicure, I don't want my time or money wasted. That's why I am compelled to write this review---I have wasted time and money at other spas and will no longer need to because I have found the perfect spa for me. The Carla Bella Day Spa in Brecksville always provides exactly the services I need---from waxing to facials to pedicures and manicures and even real professional reflexology. It even has a beautiful little hostess named Francesca Fantozzi (the owner's daughter) who always greets me with a smile and a big hug (she's two, I believe). I like the ambience here, from the decorating, to the music, to the art that adorns the walls to the beautiful Carla herself! What a gem for the NE Ohio area! Anyone who is looking for a wonderful spa for their precious free time---look no further. Carla Bell Day Spa in Brecksville is it! And I hear, she has another spa in Parma called Francesca's Hair Salon and Massage---specializing in large parties such as bridal parties--I will be taking my staff and clients there for our thrice yearly soirees, just as a thank you to those who help my businesses thrive. Carla Bella Day Spa is a five star getaway for me, and I don't even have to leave Ohio to get there. Pros: lives up to its promises more
