Capri Institute Cosmetology

Capri Institute gives you a great tour, and a nice folder filled with alluring pictures...That is all...They take your money and offer a shoddy education...This school needs to be held accountable. Awful experience...I attended this school and it was an awful experience...2009...They scammed thousands of dollars and provided way below average education and skills...Not to mention all in a filthy environment...Do not go to this school...I have fellow classmates we discuss a lawsuit as well...Awful school and they should be held accountable... more

Because of Capri, my daughter has excelled and truly shined and for the first time in a long time I see my little girl turning into a responsible adult who is full of curiosity and eager to get started in the wonderful world of beauty. We live in Mt. Arlington, so naturally our first choice was the Roxbury, NJ location. On a whim we stopped in for a tour and we were told that the Corporate office had just advised them that the school would be closing as of December 31st, they then proceeded to give us the information about the other 4 locations and still took the time to go over schedules, pricing, Financial Aid Info and everything we needed to get started. When we made the decision that Paramus was the best location for Dana to register and start, there were no problems, thanks to the help and honesty of the Roxbury Campus. Dana is set to Graduate in 4 months and then take her State Boards, I have never seen her so confident and Sure of herself, she comes home excited to tell me about her classes and teachers and I have now become her practice model as well (God Help Me) haha. So Capri THANK YOU for helping my little girl find a place in this world! more

Do not, do not choose Capri for cosmetology training. A month after my daughter registered for classes at one of their locations they announced they were closing the location at the end of the year. They gave her the option of traveling over an hour to another location or rushing through her hours. She choose to rush through her hours and is now praying she will pass the state boards. I suspect they were fully aware that they were going to close the location, but continued to accept students anyway. The teachers were terrible and I went to beauty school so I know good from bad. This school should be sued for what they have put some of the student through and I am still considering hiring an attorney. more
