Our RV purchase experience in 2013 was wonderful. Have no complaints with that. HOWEVER, our dealings with the ""circus"" department were completely awful. It began with the hitch installation on our tow vehicle. The work performed was fine, but I was passed around between service department employees like a hot potato. I felt as though I was nothing but a burden to them. I'm pretty easy to deal with and understand that sometimes, life happens and things don't always go as smoothly as we would like.\r \r The chance for the service department to redeem themselves in my eyes came soon enough, when we developed problems with the tail/brake/turn signal lamps on our first outing. When we returned home, I took the trailer back and was prepared to leave it for service. I went inside to the service counter and waited for someone to even acknowledge my presence. Eventually, a service rep noticed that I was not simply chopped beef and assisted me. When I explained I was there for service to my travel trailer, the hot potato game began. I continued waiting as numerous employees attempted to look busy, until one finally realized I would not be ignored any longer. Obviously reluctant, he walked outside with me as I explained the electrical problem. He quickly dismissed the issue as a problem with my truck, adding that ""it's never the trailer in this type of situation"". He would not even check it while it was there, explaining that I should check the fuses on my truck. I told him that I have another trailer with the same electrical connectors, and have not had any problems with its operation. He again stated that it's never the trailer.\r \r When I returned home, I had two friends with new trucks stop by and connect the trailer to their trucks. I was not surprised to find that the same problem with the lights occurred with their trucks. I began checking reviews online, and discovered RV Masters on Bingle Road to have a high amount of positive reviews. I contacted them to schedule a service appointment and spoke with John. I explained the problem and was offered a simple solution over the phone, which may, or may not have fixed it. He stated it would cost about $4, and was worth a try before hauling in for service. \r \r I was able to repair the problem for about $6 and 20 minutes of my time. He could have easily told me to bring the trailer in, where he could charge me to diagnose and repair the problem. Instead, he offered a solution that gained him no profit, except a new lifelong, loyal customer, and all of the free advertisement I am able to provide. It is clear RV Masters is dedicated to customer service. more

This was our first and last visit to Camping World of Katy. We only stopped into their store to pick up some things for our new rv. We couldn't get any one to help us. No one was on the floor and when someone showed up they acted as if we were bothering them and just pointed to where the item should be. I've never been treated so rudely by employees. It is a nice store and they have lots of things but we won't ever come back. No one looked happy and every one seemed so rude. The only smile we received was from a new employee at the checkout. Shame on this business for this kind of treatment to their customers. more

RUN: The service is so bad it defies description - horrible, awful, poor, terrible. All of these come to mind. Do not let these people work on your RV or Motor Home. They will do a sub-standard job, will charge you more than they quoted AND will take a very long time to do such poor work.\r more

Horrible! The worst service we have 10/1/2012

Horrible! The worst service we have ever received. We took our travel trailer here for routine service and they distroyed it! The service department manager talked to us like we were interrupting his day and is very condisending. I wish we Googled this place before we went there. Never again!\r \r Still more

Worst service! They used the toilet while our unit was being repaired! The whole unit was filthy and the repair was shoddy at best. I could have done better blindfolded. more

I am so amazed that ""any"" business could have reviews like these and think they could stay in business or be profitable. I came on here to look up business hours, not reviews. But seeing how low they ranked, I was curious why. I would think that upper management would be all over this----to think that people don't look at reviews and bury your head in the sand is to be, uh, completely clueless. You know who is really your boss? YOUR CUSTOMERS. Without them, you have no ""business"". Treat them good, and you might get a good review--but treat them BAD---you are almost guaranteed one way or another-that news will spread. Sorry so preachy, I'm just trying to give y'all a customer's view of it. Just my 2 cents.... more

I cannot begin to tell you the frustrations from Camping World Katy. My unit set for days (12?) before anyone touched it, but no one told us this was going to be the case. When I called about it, they had no record it was even there. I had someone drive 60 miles one way just to point it out to them on the lot...then it sat 7 more days. Now they have it in their service bay (for 13 days) and rarely can I get anyone on the phone...leave messages, nothing. Had a receptionist (very nice) to walk back there to talk...nothing. Beg for a call...nothing. Asked for General Manager Eric...he called promptly. Very nice. He got someone to call me. Things were looking up. Now that's been 3 days...12 messages left. Nothing. These folks are too busy to get my business in the future...but I have to get my unit back first. more

LOVED THIS PLACE 4/21/2012

I was very skeptical of going here because of these two other, recent, reviews so I decided to call first. I spoke to Leslie and started telling her what I was interested in and asking questions. She was Aah-MAZING!!! She was professional, helpful, friendly, informative and to the point. Absolutley everything that I want when I call a business and need information to help me make my decisions. So, the next step, make an appointment. I went in the next day - she was again completley AWESOME!! Everybody there was friendly, the place was packed with people. It was one of the best experiences of making a large purchase that I've ever had. Thank you Leslie Braunagel - you were incredible! more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS GOUGING/UNPROFESSIONAL/UNCOOPERATIVE 3/28/2012

If we could put a NEGATIVE rating we would. We travel and deal with corporations, business' and professional and family-owned business' alike.\r \r All we can say about this uncooperative, unprofessional establishment is, to say the least a very poor and horrible experience. You drive away going, ""Really""? Did all this just happen to me ??? Like a bad dream.... They nickel & dime you to death, lie about the estimated time to complete a project on my RV trailer, not once, but ALL DAY LONG ! \r \r Won't give you a break - but they love to BREAK YOU ! Their Manager is anything BUT. Turning them in to Angie's List as well. Hate to see good ole boys dumped on. They definitely need to reorganize and get some ""Customer Service Classes"" started immediately, before it's too late. more
