the food is always good, have been there four times. we go annually on a holiday. my one word of caution: the wait staff is trained to talk extensively about the food and to return frequently to your table. they seem to really want you to inter act with them. this can be tricky if you are used to ordering and eating as a traditional quiet guest. for instance, they routinely ask "have you been here before?". which is no problem. but the waitress we had last night took an attitude that we were going to act like a big expert on the place and not let her speak. I believe she must run into this a lot. So a style of business that is intended to be homey or entertaining....can perhaps backfire. I would suggest making eye contact with the waitstaff, keep any questions or comments to a minimum and let them have the floor. There is an element of showmanship so let them do their thing.
