This company was to deliver a refrigerator we just purchased for our new house between 3-7pm yesterday. They never showed up and never called. When 7 came, I called every number listed on our contract and called CEVA directly. Everything was closed and the store we bought the fridge from couldn’t help us either. The next day the store called stating that the delivery man ""CLAIMED"" that he went to the house and waited for 15 minutes before he left. That's a lie! My mom was there! Our new house is an hour away from her house, there is nowhere else she would’ve been. There is no cable, no internet, nothing. She was just there to wait for our fridge. And if this delivery guy did in fact go to our house, why on earth did he not call either of the two contact #’s listed during those ""15 minutes"" he waited? The store also let us know that CEVA was not going to deliver our fridge for another two days with a 3-7pm time window! When i finally got through to Ceva, they made it sound like it was our fault for not being there when the delivery guy arrived. No matter what I said about my mom being there waiting in the front where she could see if someone drove up, they wouldn't budge from their stance. On their end, they made no error, we, the customer did. When I asked why the delivery man didn't call us, they didn't have anything to say. They just kept saying we wouldn't get the fridge until Friday. The guy I spoke with ""Cameron"", was not very friendly and did not do much to appease this very angry customer, instead, he made it seem like it was our fault! I told the store we bought the fridge from that it looks very bad on their part for using this company as their delivery service. No one is helping us, no one is compensating us for the lost time and for the two days we now must wait for the fridge and more time taken off from work to wait for another 4 hour window delivery time! I think CEVA Logistics handled this situation very unprofessionally and took absolutely no responsibility in this matter.
I want my fridge NOW!
I also wanted the company to look further into it and not just at the notes on their computer screen. I wanted the delivery man questioned about what the house looked like, if there was or wasn't a car in the driveway, did he knock or ring the bell, why didn't he call the customers during the 15 minutes he waited? There was none of that. Just that we wouldn't get our fridge for another two days!
