Burkhart's Mobile Home Park

Rented from a different landlord but everything else had to go through this one. You have to pay $1000 to get in plus turn on water electric and pay whatever pet deposit and first months rent! \r But because I went through a different land lord it was cheaper to get in. HOWEVER! \r We're paying $80 a freaking month on water for THREE PEOPLE LIVING HERE! There's no leaks or anything. To make matters worse when the water company said to put in seperate meters she made US tennants pay for them! It turned out to be too pricey so instead she told the water company no and so the water company jacked up the prices even more!\r They turn off the water without telling anyone so I had to go to a store to buy water so my 1 year old son had something to drink! They make YOU spray for your own bugs while other landlords have no problem offering the service for free. \r I suspect foul play, she says she's not in charge of the park, the guy in CALIFORNIA is in charge. She will not give names either so I have no one to speak to about this mess! We're moving once tax money comes in! Don't come here unless you REALLY plan to buy and fix it up yourself! more

The only reason these 2 people are complaining are because they were evicted because of Non-Payment of their rent and left the homes wrecked. more

I've lived here for many years since I got out of the military and it's a great place to live. This park was worse last year but new owners/managment have really turned it around, it's a totally different community now. They got rid of all the bad elements and it's really a good place to raise a family now. It's one of the last places where you can afford to live and surround yourself with good neighbors who watch out for you. You can even rent to own if you want to buy a home so it's a good place to start for younger folks. As for the manager, she's a sweetheart, just don't give her any attitude because she will tell it like it is, Tennessee style... Pros: good neighbors, quiet, close to shops, good staff more

I called to ask if they had any used tubs that they may have thrown out in hopes that they could be purchased and used to bathe rescued dogs in. Before I got threw the sentence she hung up on me!! Unless your desperate, and I mean really desperate---stay away Cons: extremely rude and VERY low class more

The Landlord is very rude, always causing trouble. The trailors have r0aches and other infestations in them, which the Landlord knows about, yet does nothing. They also are very damaged: floors falling thru w/tennants inside, holes in and on the walls and floors, and faulty wiring through out. If you are looking for a place to live, DON'T come to Burhart Mobile Homes. more
