Waiters not that great but great beer 6/10/2007

I have gon to this brewery 3 times after my local soccer games and I like their amber cider beer, but I must say that most of the waitress have a bad additude. It seems as though you have to ask them for everything like the menu's a refill or additional beer, and or just to place a food order. They don't seem to understand to come back and check on the customers periodically. I recommend to go on days they have two for ones and maybe eat before you go. Dont expect the best customer service. it does have a nice local its indoor and outdoor and that part is attractive. Pros: Beer Cons: Bad service more

This place has food that prison riots were made of. And, you could grow old waiting for someone to wait on you. Went there late, and one of the owners was drunk and berating a staff member. Nice. Stay Away. Pros: Location Cons: Food, Staff, Owners more

Great People Watching 11/22/2006

If you like to watch the tourist find a table near the bar on the street. Or when there is live music you can "HOLLAR & SWALLAR"!!! I have been here at all hours and the bartenders are great and atmosphere is jumpin'. I have even met and seen the owners there on many occasions, they blend in with the crowd. I was sitting at the table and struck up a conversation and did not even know it was one of the owners. I recommend this bar/restaurant to any of my friend visiting Nashville. (You can even watch that crazy Tootsies crowd without being involved!) Pros: You can sit inside or semi-outside Cons: Parking...as with any downtown club more

Yummy cajun food and beer 10/26/2006

My husband and I think this place is the coolest. Its a neighborhood bar and grill that we frequent even though we don't live in the neighbohood. The cajun food tastes homemade and the paper plates keeps things from being serious along with the berr on tap. more

Beer, Darts, and Good Bartenders 10/14/2006

First off, I patronize this place at-least once a week with a group of friends after work, and I can almost guarantee you that the reason our last two commentators were treated with attitudes is because they walked in with attitudes. The staff at Broadway Brewhouse will treat you how you treat them. After all, its a bar. Act civil and you will be treated with civility. Secondly, this is, in my own Born-&-Raised-Here opinion, the best bar in Nashville. With an extensive beer list, nice crowd, casual setting, and an honest staff, what more do you want in a neighborhood bar? Thirdly, dont crowd the joint. I like this place the way it is. If you want to join the crowd, go somewhere else. Im sure the owners would love to pocket your sweaty tourist money, but Im the one writing this thing so dont crowd me. On the other hand, if you want to throw down a few cold ones, play a round of darts, and enjoy some good-old-fashioned trash talk, Ill see you there. One more thing. Dont touch the Ring-Swing in the back. That thing is frustratingly addictive. more

Best Bartender 7/12/2006

My husband & I were in the Broadway Brew House several times during our stay in Nashville. The best beer which we drink back home was Blue Moon. It was on draft in alot of the places we stopped at, but always went back to the Brewery. Was impressed at the number of drafts they offer The mural of Blue Moon on the outer deck was super we have it on a cameara phone it was great. I also have a wooden crated that I got at the Brewery of Blue Moon the bartender deserves a big thank you again for that one. I will go back to the Broadway Brewery next year on my trip to Nashville it was worth the trip. RJ & AM Pros: walked to everything more

Great place 12/14/2005

great selection of beer; bottles and drafts, full liquor bar and great food. So many regulars make you feel at home along with the great staff. Fun place to hang out with friends have some beers and wings and play some golden tee. Pros: inexpensive , parking , fun place more

Only rating Mojo Grill Restaurant 11/17/2005

While I haven't had too much experience with the Brewhouse side, my family and I usually enter the Mojo Grill side of the establishment. The wings are the best in Nashville, and the red beans & rice, bread, & spicy ranch dressing are unbeatable. The staff & cooks at Mojo are so friendly & helpful, & almost all of them know my 2 year old son by name. Usually the guys in our group will go to the bar to get their beers & then come back to the front. The only complaint is the bathrooms. As a mom we laugh & go out to the car to change our children. There's hardly room for the adult to use the restroom! Overall, this is one of our favorite restaurants in Nashville, & it's very kid friendly, especially if you sit in the enclosed front porch. Pros: Food!! Best wings, Cooks and staff, Good prices Cons: Bathrooms, Long wait at bar side more

Bartenders 9/27/2005

They've got a few cute ones and if you can get their attention, service will be fine. Never had a problem getting served there. Food is okay - not stellar, but the beer selection more than makes up for it. Good watering hole central to Mid-Town. Pros: selection, atmoshpere, seating more
