I have been to Brigs Wake Forest twice for brunch. The food wasn't bad, but not the ""award winning"" caliber they are famous for. The decor is reminiscent of a retirement home or garden variety seaside diner. Depending on when you get there the waits are almost not worth it. The host and wait staff look high school aged and seem way over their heads with the volume. It would be comical if it were not so blazingly annoying that in each visit we had to go hunt for our silverware. For some bizarre reason they do not set the tables and there is no silverware when you sit down. We were seated, served and had nothing to eat with. We had to ask the hostess to get it for us since our waiter, who looked about 15, vanished, and that was before we had to ask him to get it for us. It's a little thing, but it matters when you leave the restaurant and that's all you remember. We literally waited close to 10 minutes for someone to bring us a fork, knife, and spoon while our food grew colder. The second time I just got up, went to the wait station, and grabbed it. Both times there were no table checks, no refills, and no one really seemed interested when I brought it up the hostess when we paid our tab. A good restaurant would at least try to make up for it. Until they hire some staff who know what the hell's going on I think I'm done with this place.
Pros: Can't really think of one
Cons: See the above
