In the beginning of September my fianc? and I took my 2007 Cobalt to have the rotors checked because of shaking. We made an appointment ahead of time so that when we arrived our car could get right in. When we arrived we had to wait for an hour and a half for our car to even get looked at. DON'T BOTHER making APPOINTMENTS with them. Anyways the come back to us with this laundry list of things that need to be down for example, rotors need to be machined (good we figured that), Brake lines need to be flushed and refilled ( What?), The struts need to be replaced (They were still in decent shape), and Oil needs to be changed (hadn't even meet 3,000 miles and its a new car). So anyways we let them flush the brake system and machine the rotors.
One month later on the 2nd of October after a trip from Houston to Kansas and a trip to Oklahoma and back......... I was on HWY 59 when my car started to just not move...... The wheels were burning. I pulled over, got out to see my hub caps completely melt off my wheel. I had my car towed to a Chevy dealership. I was told by the certified mechanic there that my entire front and part of my back brake system. A cost totaling of 1,998.00 Dollars to replace. When the work was performed they found some kind of greenish brown fluid that smelled much like transmission fluid in my brake system. My Fianc? and I tried to discuss the situation with Brake Check manager of store and Regional manager, but only received rude and condescending attitude. Basically the said ""Well this isn't Brake Check's problem to fix"". Talking to the managers got us now where but upset. The managers have no sense of customer service and have a superior attitude when discussing business with their customers. Even when the car has never had the brake system touched until them. Never mind that the car wasn't touch by anyone besides them until the car became un-drivable. Please, Please, do not take your car to Brake Check their attitude is that they don't care. Is that really someone you want working on your brakes? I don't care what they say there policy is but don't believe it THEY DO NOT GUARANTEE THEIR WORK!
Cons: Poor customer services, Does not meet promises
