1/27/2014 This message is coming a little late but I just wanted to let Black Mountain Plumbing (BMP) know what an exceptional work I received from Solomon. Solomon visited our residence on two separate occasion is the past 3 months (67681 & 64769) and I felt that on both occasions he gave me an honest assessment of the problem and a reasonable/fair rate for the work. He was forthcoming about what he was doing, let me know what would and would not be covered. He was also timely in his arrival, worked hard, and tidied up when the work was completed. Although no one wants to have plumbing repairs every three months, if I ever need some work, I'll call BMP and request Solomon by name. He represents your company well. I called Black Mountain Plumbing, Inc. three times last year. One was a very difficult job and was done very, very well. They came promptly each time and did the work efficiently. I was very satisfied with their work. The customer service was very good as well. They were very friendly and very polite. I would recommend them. One thing is that you should make sure and check the pricing ahead of time. I had one case where the water pressure gauge was three hundred something dollars to replace and then for another house I got an estimate and it was five hundred something dollars. We've used Black Mountain Plumbing twice now. They were very responsive when we called. They arrived at the time they said they would. They did really good work for us, and they even made recommendations for us on how to keep our plumbing well maintained. We like them because they're good, honest guys. Black Mountain Plumbing, Inc. is ALWAYS a five! I've been using them since I lived in a different house in Rancho Penasquitos (during the 1990s). They're really good about preventative maintenance, and they don't go overboard in recommending unnecessary things. One time, I had a kitchen faucet that I wasn't thrilled about, and they asked if I would be replacing it at some point. They went ahead and changed it out for me right then! That was definitely like, "WOW"! more

Black Mt. Plumbing is terrific. I wouldn't call anyone else. I've had them out twice; once to replace 2 faucets and another time to determine where my water damage was coming from. Both times they were more than nice. When I saw there was water sitting on my floor and coming down the walls, I knew exactly who to call. Integrity and trust is major in this situation. My husband had tried to repair the water tank on a toilet and he ended up breaking something. I told him that was enough and that I was calling the plumber. I didn't know who to call, and I saw Black Mountain's truck on the street so I decided to call them. They did a good job. more

I called Black Mountain about a leak under our sink, and they were able to make an appointment that same day. The plumber, Travis, was exceptional. He was right on time, friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. He explained everything clearly to me, answered all my questions, and even played with our dog! It turned out that we didn't have a huge problem with our sink, and I'm sure that he could have charged us up for a lot of things. Instead he gave us an estimate that was below everything else we had seen. Black Mountain is the plumbing service we will call if we ever had needs in the future, and I've been recommending them to everyone I know when they have plumbing issues. more

Travis came out to replace our pressure regulator because another plumber had said that we had high water pressure. The first thing that he did was check our pressure and show me that it was well within the normal limits. He called ahead, came on time, was friendly, smart, and professional and he didn't make me pay to fix something that wasn't broken like a less reputable person would have. He also stayed to give me a free estimate to an issue with our sprinkler system that I have been thinking about for a while. Black Mountain plumbing is the best because they are always fair. I would recommend Black Mountain plumbing to everyone in SD. With this company you know that you are getting the best work at the best price and only when you need it! more

I started to use Black Mountain Plumbing when I moved to San Diego 1.5 years ago and have been very happy with the quality and professionalism of their service. On a whim, I gave another company a try and I now I know for sure that Black Mountain Plumbing is THE BEST. The other company told me that I had high water pressure and needed to replace the regulator. I called Black Mountain to have this claim checked because they had been to the house several times and never told me that I had a problem. Travis came out and was friendly and professional from the start. He also called ahead of time to tell me when he was coming and was well within the window of time that I was quoted when I made the appointment. He used a top-of-the-line pressure meter to show me that the static and running pressure where well within the normal limits. He took the time to talk it through with me even though it meant that I wasn't going to pay him anything for the visit. I also asked him to give me an estimate to move our sprinkler system behind the pressure regulator. He gave me a very fair price on this move and we will end up using Black Mountain to make this change when it is really time to replace the regulator. Travis stayed and talked to me for thirty minutes. I got top quality plumbing advice for free. I will never call another company again! I know for sure now! I met with the people at Black Mountain Plumbing to discuss the situation I needed done. They were very friendly and very helpful. I had to have some landscaping torn up by another company, and the work had to be continued other times because of the rain. The landscapers were a pain in the neck, and Black Mountain just said to call them whenever the landscaping was done. We did, and they came the next day. They got the job done, they were gone, and it was done right. more

I had a great experience with Blue Mountain Plumbing. I was able to explain the situation and David saved me from calling a leak detector saving me upwards of $300. He came to the house the next day and within 2 hours he fixed the problem cutting out 2" ABS drain stack and replacing it. I was extremely happy with their service and professionalism. more
