Bethpage Animal Hospital 8/9/2009

I have used Bethpage Animal Hospital for many years for my cats. The director, Dr. Thomas Polehinke is as kind and caring as a vet could be- he also is patient and gives you lots of time. He is brilliant and an excellent diagnostician. When I bring my cats there, I feel that he will know exactly what to do. He also knows when to refer you to a specialist. The previous reviews are correct. Bring your pets there. Although Dr. Marchitelli is no longer with the practice, Dr. Beth Shavell is also an excellent vet, understanding and patient.\r Mrs H more

Bethpage Animal Hospital 3/25/2009

We have used this facility for 21 years. The staff has taken care of all 4 of our dogs. The facility is immaculate, the vets are compassionate and caring as are all of their support staff. I wouldn't take my dog to any other facility. We always leave there feeling comfortable that Muggs has had top notch care as did our other dogs. Bethpage Animal Hospital 1/5/2009

Doctor Polehinke has been our vet for 12 years since my female shih tzu was a pup and wouldn't take her to any other vet. He started out in West Islip and we followed him to Bethpage. The staff and him are excellent in their care and treat her like it was their own pet. He explains everything fully and makes follow up calls to check on your pet... I highy recommend Bethpage Animal Hospital more

Caring veterinarian 12/11/2008

Bethpage Animal Hospital was recommended by a friend years ago and now I would never take my pets anywhere else. The vets and support staff treat your furry family as if they are their own pets. You never leave with unanswered questions about vaccines or treatment. more

Animal Hospitals 11/25/2008

I can strongly recommend Bethpage Animal Hospital for your pets. Doctors Tom Polehinke and Beth Marchitelli take excellent care of my dog and two senior cats. They have a lot of patience with the pets they treat (and my dog is a handful), and take the time to answer any and all questions. The practice provides services ranging from routine checkups and vaccinations to sophisticated diagnostic tests and surgeries. The doctors, as well as every member of their support staff (vet assistants, vet techs, receptionists, office manager) treat you as a friend and not just a client. more
