Beware! Their new management are crooks! I took my car in because of a valve cover gasket leak. Instead of fixing the leak first, they told me to change my timing belt and water pump which cost me $1100. Within 200miles after, the power steering pump's pulley flew off the car while I was driving. So I took the car back. They said that because it was old and the new belt must have been too tight. So now I have to pay for a new pump plus new timing belt. So now I've paid $1500 and I still have a leak. On top of that the car now shakes when idling. I took the car to a Midas and they told me something is wrong with the exhaust. I took it back to Bergan Import and they told me it has nothing to do with the power steering pump job. These guys will rip you off! I'm never going back there. more

I've brought 2 of my Audis to this shop and both times I've had gotten nothing less than outstanding results and plenty of good advice. I've had some complicated maintenance work done there and they have all the necessary tools and the staff are very famliar around Audis. \r \r One time, I self-diagnosed an issue on my car and tried to schedule an appt but Harry was able to diagnose the issue over the phone and saved me a trip and $$$ on unnecessary work that was covered under Audi's warranty....something alot of other shops wouldn't have thought twice to take your money and do nothing. more

As a first time customer at Bergen Imports, I can only say beyond glowing things about the folks at Bergen Imports...This is true from the management down the chain. I think the guys name is Harry, great guy. I brought my wife's S500 in for replacement of the back and front bumpers and a full Tune up. They took time with my wife and explained every step they took before taking it. They replaced out bumpers with OEM MB parts and showed me the old ones. Seeing the below compelled me to write, I had an issue with these guys recently and honestly will never return. They talk a good game, but honestly when things get stolen, parts (in areas of your car that no one should touch) go missing off of your car for a day or two so they can complete other cars in the shop, hardware from every make and model ends up on your car (IE BMW and Audi hardware on a Mercedes). Parts on my car that were supposed to be new replacements must have been taken out of one of their old parts piles or off of an old wreck. Other parts of my car were damaged and the whole car was filthy when returned. To top it off the two gents running the place have to be the most dishonest around. When things are fine they are fine, but when things go wrong everything turns into nasty and rude remarks and a ""we have done no wrong"" attitude. If I owned a German snow blower I would not let them change the oil. Pros: Absolutly nothing Cons: Hack mechanics claiming to be pros butchering cars more

Honest? These guys are crooks. I will never take my car there again. I had frontal damage from a truck that hit me. They were supposed to replace my front bumper with a new bumper. Instead, they retouched and repainted my front bumper and charged me $1,100 for what they invoiced as new. This happened today!! Not 2009 or 2008. Bergen Imports was about quality and honesty. I had bee recommended before by many. Now, they are con artist. I REPEAT, I WILL NEVER TAKE MY CAR EVER AGAIN TO BERGEN IMPORTS. When it comes to having something mechanically important repaired,this is the place. My car was serviced at Bergen Imports and the price was much better than that of the stealership! Its a family owned garage and the people there are pleasant and polite. If you own a german car this is the place:) i will be having more work done there and will write a follow up review, until then, happy motoring from a fellow enthusiest sports car owner:) Ps, Harry knows alot about suspension set ups too, so dont be shy to ask him for advice. The biggest concern I have when taking a car in for service is whether or not I'm getting ripped off. We've been bringing the Mercedes here for years and now the X5. These guys are honest and willing to address your concerns. This not to say you don't have to sometimes wait a little for a part to come in, but bottom line, the job gets done right and you're not left wondering if you were overcharged or if your car was sabotaged.
