Near Rick's Steaks 1/27/2006

After finishing an excellent cheesesteaks, head over to Bassetts for some truly great ice cream. You can't go wrong with any of the flavors including traditional vanilla. They are available in stores, but it doesn't taste as good. Busy atmosphere in the Reading Terminal Market. more

I scream for Bassett's! 3/30/2004

See where it began, including a hundred plus year old marble counter that is still in use. Bassett's has very good mint chocolate chip, moose tracks, and peanut butter swirl ice cream. Now you can get Bassett's at Wawa locations throughout the region but stop by the original location and step back in time. Fast, efficient, and friedly service too. more
