Room was clean and nice. Older motel with great customer service. They had already turned off the fireplaces when we got there for the spring and readily and quickly turned ours back on for us. The jacuzzi tub worked well and water must be on a tankless system as it never ran out! Overall great little motel for the money especially if you are not planning on spending a lot of time in the room! more

Our stay at Baskins Creek was great! We didn't know what to expect because the cabin rental was really cheap compared to all of the others. We were pleasantly surprised with our cabin and the convenient location within walking distance to the strip. We had four adults and two children and we all slept comfortably. The two full bathrooms really helped us get ready for our days out on the town. We also took full advantage of the hot tub and the fully equipped kitchen. Thanks so much for helping our vacation be all that it could be. We can't wait to come visit Gatlinburg again and we will definitely be staying at Baskins Creek from now on. more

Glad to say it is under new ownership! The front desk lady Candy helped us pic out the perfect room. And the maintenance man Bill was there for us (when a light bulb went out) very quick services and nice wonderful people. Might I add o found not one thing wrong with our room no mold like people have said literally absolutely nothing amiss in our room. :) will deff come back each time we visit Gatlinburg!!! more

The office staff are very friendly and helpful! It was very easy to book and check in (door code!). We had a wonderful time in Room 103. It was very clean upon our arrival. Our room had a very comfortable queen sized bed, fireplace, and jacuzzi. What I loved most was this room and Room 102 are part of a duplex that sits off to the left of the office and in front of the pool (it felt a little secluded!). The duplex resembles a cabin so it was nice and rustic! A stream runs behind the duplex and at night, you can hear the water running. It's so peaceful. The room was very clean, well stocked with towels and toiletries. We stayed 6 nights (we got the awesome 3 nights-1 free deal). This was a major cost saver for us. I was worried about how quality we were going to get for a $300 trip but we were wow-ed! I would not recommend this room for families as it would be a tight fit for more than 2 people but for couples, it's ideal and romantic! The location is great, we were able to walk to few blocks to the strip (in snow and cold by the way) no problem. It has great access to the Village and Ripley's Aquarium. We were able to the cut through the Village and be right on the strip quickly. I have read the other reviews and this was NOT anything like our experience. The only complaint we had was there was a big snow storm while we were there and the office was closed. We did not get maid service for a few days but we were brought towels and our trash was taken out. This is a very minor thing in our eyes as it did not affect our stay. I would just recommend they be better prepared for inclement weather (though this storm blew in overnight so we have grace!). This is not the fanciest hotel we've ever stayed in but for the price, you just can't beat it. Don't expect the Hilton! We would stay here again when we return to the Gatlinburg area! more

My wife and I were looking forward to celebrating our anniversary but after reading about others experience here we were very nervous about going. We found this site after we had passed our 14 day deadline and were unable to cancel our reservation. So we went with the worst of expectations of the Nestle Inn. When we arrived I was greeted with a very friendly staff. They told me where our room was and when I first saw the door I was thinking did they tell me wrong because to me it looked like the door to the Pool supply room. It had the rules for the pool right beside the door and the swimming pool seem to be approximately 3 or 4 large steps from the door. When I unlocked the door we were VERY SURPRISED to see that all our fears were unfounded about this room. The carpet appeared to be almost new the floor covering in the bathroom looked new. It was what they showed on their site. The room was very clean, clean smelling , and warm. They kept us with a supply of complementary coffee, clean towels and the other things you would expect for a nice stay in any hotel, motel or Inn. The Heart shaped Jacuzzi was VERY clean and nice. The Fireplace was working well. We did note that in using the phone their was a buzz in the line but you could call out on it. Since we had our cell phones that wasn't even a concern of ours anyway. The staff assisted us in locating restaurants we might enjoy. The day we departed it was too early for the office to be open but their was gentleman in the office. I just showed him our room key and dropped it in the after hours box beside the door. He came out as I was walking to the car and said he was a little early and they were not open yet but he wanted to know if we had a nice stay. When I told him we enjoyed it very much He said Thank you and you folks have a nice a safe trip home. more

The Nestle Inn was okay. It was reasonably priced and the location was a short walk from the parkway more

We stayed in our favorite room 204 last weekend for the third time. Again I have to say it's perfect for a romantic getaway. The room is cozy and rustic and love the fireplace. It's not ""fancy"" but it's very well maintained and very clean. It's in a great location to downtown Gatlinburg so you don't have to pay for parking; it's about a 5 minute walk. It's also very quite we sleep very well when we stay there! We always cut across in the little village behind the Pancake Pantry and go to the shops and get some goodies along the way. The staff at the Nestle Inn is always so nice and wonderful to talk to. We can't wait for our next trip! Counting down the days! more

My husband and I stayed for our 1st anniversary here November 2014 in room 210. It's small but cozy. It was just us so we didnt need a lot of room. We were on a budget. We have stayed in nice hotels and in cabins but didnt want to spend a fortune on our room this time. Staying 3 nites and paying for 2 caught my eye. I was worried with some of the reviews but honestly it was better than I expected. If you want a nice large room with the amenities then pay the extra and get one! It was clean! The bed spread had been updated to a nice quilt I really liked. The bed was comfortable enough. The kitchenette was all we needed as we weren't planning to do any major cooking. I made do with the mirror on the cabinet by the sink and it wasn't an issue. Loved that it had the gas fireplace. We had drawers to put our clothes and a rack to hang them up on if we wanted. We only walked to town and back one night. A little longer than 5 minutes but it still wasn't a bad walk. We would stay again. more

These little theme rooms are far from elegant but have always been clean and very affordable. And the location is walking distance from the strip where all the activity in Gatlinburg is more

I discovered The Nestle Inn a couple of years ago when I was planning a quiet trip to Gatlinburg on the way home from Nashville for work. I stayed in M105 and wasn't disappointed. The price was great so when hubby and I planned our trip I checked and the prices couldn't be beat for a honeymoon suite. We stayed in M104 and was very pleased. Hubby didn't know what to expect because of the price and he was very happy. The room gives you a cabin type feel. I loved getting in the hot tub in the room each night. We couldn't hear a peep out of any of the other guests. The bed was made and fresh towels were there each evening when we arrived back. The bed was comfortable and we loved the flat screen and electric fire place. Can't beat it for the price for sure! more

Just a few minutes walk creekside down to traffic light #6 in gatlinburg. only about 50 yards to the trolley route but enjoyed the walk both ways each day. Stayed in the honeymoon/anniversary suite #203. I didn't pull up tripadvisor on this one, because i went straight for the best value i found on the net for a last minute 3 day trip to the smokies. The room really met/exceeded my expectations for the low price . $50-60 dollars for a clean room is the minimum you can expect to pay for a queen bed offering and no room amenities. $55 bucks here got us a very clean room , 2 person hot tub , gas fireplace, and a mini-frig. Seriously , you know this same getup would cost $120 with a random dart board throw anywhere in the metro areas in the U.S. always looking for new hotels to try ,but would not hesitate one second to return here even if the price was reasonably higher. more

I have stayed at the Hotel, in the cottages, condos, always book with Baskins Creek and have been for 15 years, never have a problem, love the service and cannot beat the prices.\r The Nestle Inn is cozy and gives you the feeling of privacy. The condo's are great for a large family, we had Thanksgiving in one, the Honeymoon suites are great! I am going to book again soon more

It was fabulous! Room looked identical to online picture! it was a little hard to get the door open with a code and not a key the first time, but we finally got the hang of it. I am a travel agent and will definitely be recommending to others. We paid for 2 nights and got a third night free! more
