do not use this roofer he is the worst believe me i was a personal friend for 40 years and he screwed me 3 times he put roofs on for me all 3 leaked he never came back to fix i had to get someone else to fix i learned my lesson after you pay him he's gone he has a lot of rental properties so he does not care about you and your leaky roofs his nick name is leaky longo do not use him he is going out of the roofing business anyway more

He replaced my roof less than 4 years ago and we have leaks every time there is a heavy rainfall. If that's not bad enough, he doesnt return phonecalls. Getting him to come back is a chore. Dont just take my word for it. Talk to other people that have used him. He does not have a big fan base. more

I've dealt with many contractors over the years and when I called Arrowhead Roofing 2 years ago for an estimate on a new roof I was EXTREMELY happy with the service...Vinny followed up immediately, was prompt, courteous, and gave me an estimate that was more than fair. He and his staff completed the job in one day, and after they left you never would have known work was done - they were neat, professional and did quality work. In the future, Vinny will always be my first call for contracting work, because any time I have called him he has ALWAYS returned my calls and given me fair and honest pricing & prompt service. I would recommend his company to anyone. I bought an older house a couple of years ago and in the winter time it always felt cold(despite using the heat). I knew my windows were old and drafty which lead to heat escaping so I contacted Vinny about replacements. He was quick to return my call and come out to give me an estimate and some recomendations. He never pressured me to to do anything. He just gave me estimates on some different models and share some of his professional experience with me. I liked Vinny right away and felt he was right for the job(not to mention his price was good).\r \r Let me tell you that these windows are great and I have no drafts, lower heating bills, and the house has a much warmer feel to it in the winter. These things were installed correctly I can tell you that much!\r \r If you want someone who you can trust and who will treat you fairly go with Vinny from Arrowhead. When the time comes that my roof needs some work he is without a doubt the guy I am going to call. I had bought a slightly older home in the Livingston, NJ area and needed to change the roof because there was leakage as well as general erosion due to the age of it. I called several roofers and compared pricing as well as availability to start. Vinny from Arrowhead came over very quickly, seemed pleasant and knowledgable and gave me a good deal. His team worked very quickly and professionally and I was very happy with the outcome of the job. I have lived in this house for over a year now and have been through all sorts of extreme weather and have had absolutely no issues at all with the roof. We had major roof problems with a reroof job by Vinny. Poor quality work, does not use GAF roof caps, not responsive etc. When they finally do try and fix the problem it only got worse. I had to get a GAF Master Elete roofer to do major repairs. I do not understand how he stays in business. Cons: poor work- more

We contacted Arrowhead in Spring '07, and the owner, Vinny, responded and came right away. They replaced the roof quick and on time. However, one month after the job, we noticed one shingle slightly popped up, which we wanted corrected. Also, a small piece of wood broke off from our attic roof, which we simply wanted to get advice on. We called Vinny, and called. We left him over 40 messages with his answering service! We also sent a letter. He DOES NOT RESPOND. It is just courteous business practice to respond and follow up, but no, not him. We never heard from him again. To this day, we still try to contact him. It is incredible. We are lucky that our problem is minor, like a popped up shingle (for now), and it is not a major leak. I would not recommend him at all. I don't know how he remains in business. I hope to get the word out to protect others. more

Beware...do not use this roof contractor, rather pay someone else more money. You only going to see him ONCE, if he leaves anything unfinished or if there is any problem later he is not going to come look and fix it. I have a leak in my roof which is only one and half years old and is under warranty, and he never came to fix it . You don't want to be stuck with someone like him. more
