Come here for a collection of unusual home furnishing items that make great gifts for country or city living. You can find anything from whimsical napkin rings to door knockers. I agree with Frank S. that the moody staff can mar the experience of shopping here, but this is not true on most days. The true test of civility in business really is how you are treated on the day you don't find what you are looking for. more

Located in the central business district in Cold Spring, this charming shop is one my favorites places in town. Visit Cold Spring on a fall day and you'll have trouble getting a parking spot--the town is just lovely and there are lots of places to eat, shop and just relax. Enjoy the spectacular view along the Hudson River at the end of Main Street. It's a walker's paradise. Chocked full of tasteful items for your home--fabulous candles, dishes & wineglasses, candle holders, garden tools, and other items to make your house a home. This is a great place to get a gift as a housewarming, wedding or just thinking of someone. Also, lots of unusual accessories for the wine lover in your house or list.
