Very Satisfied!!! 8/30/2010

To those looking for a reliable builder. I have got to say after all the reviews I have read about ALL pool companies in the Abq. area I still chose Aquatic. Not only for there design ideas, but mostly for the owner Mr. Yates. I am a business owner and I know what its like having your company represented by other people. Not only did I deal with Mr Yates personally, if I had any ?'s or concerns he personally made sure they where answered to my satisfaction. In closing I think people have got to have real expectations and know that nothing in this world is perfect, but if you are willing to be understanding and enjoy the process you will totally be satisfied with your end results! more

Nightmare Company 7/27/2010

The rating scale provided here is totally inadequate in describing this company. Customer service does not exist in this company. They do not call back when they say they will, they do not respond to customer needs. They have a total of 2 technicians, who are obviously overwhelmed with the work load and on top of that the technicians think they are gods! There is absolutely no internal communication, and zero follow up communication with the customer. I've spent weeks chasing them. This is a nightmare of a company to deal with. Pros: NONE Cons: EVERYTHING more

I've had nothing but good results using Aquatic Pools. They are prompt, and they do what they say when they say they will. I have no qualms about recommending them highly. They built a swimming pool and spa that looks beautiful. When I need service for the pool, I call them. If you want a good job go with Aquatic Pools. more

Beautifully designed swimming pool with great maintenance service. 5/20/2010

Aquatic Pools designed a beautiful swimming pool for us. We did have some problems, but they always came back and fixed them. They really stand behind their work. Everything works great now. They have also done the service of the pool for us, opening and closing it each season. We are very pleased with that. The reason why we use them for the service is because if something were to happen during the winter or summer, they would stand behind their work and follow up on it. We like the service very much and really enjoy the pool. We had them give us a salt water pool, which is really the best. The different water features that they were able to add make it such a center piece for the backyard. They even put in laminar jets for us. I would not hesitate to use and recommend them for residential pools. more

I am a high end homebuilder and for the past 6 years Aquatic has built our pools. He has built 8 pools for me and every single one is a showpiece. He has always treated me with respect and professionalism that is hard to find in todays world. Anytime there is an issue, Ron has stepped up to the plate and corrected it in a timely fasion without question. That is truly a rare quality from my experience and I would not have anyone else build me a pool. Pros: High Quality for reasonable price more

Ron did a great job of designing the pool and as it turned out, the whole back yard. His experience was the key to making my backyard a true oasis. He worked with us the whole time and gave us many ideas to work with. The pool turned out great Pros: Great to work with more

Last Spring i purchased an Aquatic Pool. I have been completely satisfied not only the quality but also the service provided.\r They gave me a 6 to 8 week completion time frame and they hit a home run! My family was in and swimming in 6 weeks 2 days. although with all the anticipation with my children it did feel like a decade. My two teenagers whom were rarely home before became almost as if stationary back yard furniture. Last summer my home seemed to be a favorite hang out of the entire high school. Truth be told im loving every minute. I would rather keep an eye on them.\r I normally do not write reviews but after reading through them it seemed a biy unfair. I also realize that satisfied customers rarely have much to say. Owning my own buisness i know from experience some people are, well unpleasable. All i can deduce is ON THE CONTRARY aquatic pools not only transformed our back yard......they transformed our lifestyle as well. My only problem now is waiting for spring! avoid aquatic at all costs 10/28/2009

I was promised my pool would be done in 4 weeks. I was skeptical...but now we are in our 4th MONTH and my pool still has not been what I would call "complete". My solar panel has leaked since day one. I've made 9, yes NINE requests to get it fixed. I still have not been delivered a testing kit. My final inspection has not been done. I haven't been shown how to use the automatic chlorination system. I have the same issue with phone calls never being returned. They scheduled a service to come and winterize my pool two weeks ago Thursday. I took time off of work and they never showed. I made all of my payments on time. I screwed up and made the final payment thinking I had one more to go...I should have never done that! I do like the pool (even though I've only swam in it twice because it wasn't completed on time to take advantage of warm weather). The equipment seems to be quality...but nothing overcomes the gross lack of customer service this company perpetuates! Pros: can't think of a single one Cons: horrible, horrible customer service more

Boneheads at best.... 9/23/2009

As I read through all the reviews, I can relate to many if not all of them. There is not a lot of deep thinking going on within this company. Ron is a great guy, but his company gives him a very bad name. Extremely poor customer service, never answer phones or return phone calls when vm's are left. Now...in all fairness...When they installed the gunnite on our pool, they didn't bother to check the forcast and installed it during 40 mph winds which caused it to fracture badly. With a lot of squeaky wheels on our end, we finally got it fixed after the pool was filled but had to be drained and refilled. They didn't hook up the ground. They tore up a brand new cover by not thinking about what they were doing...and with some more squeeky wheels...the cover did get replaced. Sevice guys will tell you they will call you back and then never do. They hounded my contractor for $ at every step of the way without thought of where they were in the construction process. Now with all that said....we have really enjoyed the pool once it got working. Craftsmanship is shoddy in area's which bothers me but all in all...it has been about a 3. Lots of frustration that balances out the good stuff. Pros: Only game in our area Cons: Act like they are the only game in the area more

Well, once digging and construction begins, there are certain to be some unforseen problems. I must say that from my experience, Aquatic Pools took care of every snag that was encountered. Yes, it would have been nice if all had gone entirely without a hitch or change in construction schedule. But there are many people at the buffet table and I understand it is impossible to completely please everyone. Also, it might be a good idea for the new pool owner to learn how to care for the pool. Correct water balance actually keeps the tile from falling off! Pros: Low maintenence remote operation good design Cons: Mainly a constructon company with limited sevice crew. more

Poor pool services and customer service 6/17/2008

Wrong parts, dont answer their phones. Pros: quality parts, install was fine, when you get through they are freindly, Cons: they dont answer their phone, post sale support terrible, unable to get my pool services since may. more
