DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE! The facility is clean and the receptionist is friendly, but those are the ONLY nice things I can say about this practice. The quality of care is questionable. My dog died 2 HOURS after she was discharged, despite being told that she would be fine from Dr. Clegg. Please learn from my mistake!
How could they discharge my dog if her injuries were so severe? Dr. Clegg my dog would be fine; reports show that my dog had a pain level of a 2 out of 10.
After my dog passed away, I demanded answers as to why their reports were so off from what had really happened. Dr. Clegg tried to defend herself in saying that my dog may have suffered from a blood clot, that I should have done an x-ray on her chest. First of all, if she thought there was an issue with her chest, then why didn't she reccomend this as critical? Instead, she said that it was probably "markings from the hit".
You will spend a pretty dime to get pretty crappy service. I paid $700+ ($95 for exam, $400+ for x-rays, $200 for prescriptions we didn't use) , and my dog did not make it. The staff will spend more time trying to negotiate a deal than examing your pet. It's like you're at a car dealership. If you cannot afford a procedure, the tech will ask, "what can you afford?" and will go back to "check with the manager". Service is slow. We spent 4 hours to get pain medication, an exam, and x-rays.
Did I also mention that when my dog could not even stand on her own feet and my husband had to carry her to the car, the vet tech, Jay, said, "Oh, she's just milking it".
Take your pet to a practice that actually cares about YOU and YOUR PET.
