When you arrive at the restaurant you will be taken by how cute the outside of the place is. It is situated in a section of Pottstown that has really worked hard to refurbish the architecture and character of the homes that are around. Unfortunately this cute quality does not translate into the food. I have been here twice and both times the food has been shockingly poorly made and hastily presented. The first time I was there was for a birthday party and 8 people were at the table. The restaurant is so small that the staff has to interrupt dinner many times to ask members of our table to move so that they could pass. Our party did have a reservation well ahead of time and they did not inform us that the restaurant cannot really accommodate parties of more than 2 well. They also could not put out the appetizers and entrees together. In fact there was such a delay that some people received there entree before others received there appraisers. Now it is hard for me to believe that a restaurant could produce such poor food so I did go back for a second try but the food quality and service were the same for 2 people. Fabulous food;PERFECTO pasta & seafood, & the bread pudding is to DIE for.You definitely need reservations & an affinity for bumping elbows with perfect strangers.The service is okay but the food is worth it. They serve lunch although, I've only ordered from the dinner menu; they are byo. They catered my Rehearsal DInner & even though not all food lends itself to being catered everything was delicious.It is ""cozy"" but, unfortunately, in my opinion for such a small place, parents have brought children when I've been there. The salads are incredibly small, but who goes to an Italian restaurant for a great salad?:) Don't plan on having a private conversation or eavesdropping on an interesting one while you dine; do plan on leaving very full.
