I called tonight on New Years Eve. Technician showed up fast and was fantastic about getting my unit up and running. Only cost 69 dollars. I will always call them for repair.

UNREASONABLE MARK-UP FOR PART 6/2/2013

They charged $69 for a service call to check my A/C unit and I am fine with that. He remove about 8 screws and said I needed a capacitor and that would be $302. He put one on (not a factory replacement part) and my A/C works. The problem I have is the mark-up profit they have for the capacitor. Way out of line. Anyone can buy the same capacitor at a cost between $18 and $57. I figure they paid about $15 at most for the part. The technician said he had already replaced 5 capacitors and it was only just after noon. I've got a really bad taste in my mouth from this experience. more

Anytime we have a question or challenge, someone responds within 24 hours, even on weekends! The technicians are always courteous and knowledgeable and get the problem solved!With the club membership, we never have to pay service calls which is wonderful! more

Above and beyond 4/11/2012

A few years ago we bought a new AC/heating unit for our home. It included a hepa filtration system for the home as well as a heatpump, when gas was not really needed to heat the home. Caleb came to service our unit and spent almost 2 hours cleaning. In the past, the technicians were in and out within 30 minutes. Caleb took the time to clean the unit like it was his own and made adjustments to some of the wiring to prevent any possible damage. My husband and I were both appreciative that he cared. In addition, recently AirNow came out again for the routine service and the technician who came took pride just as Caleb had. Thanks! The day the tech came to service my AC unit I was under the weather. Before he left he offered to take out my trash. How many people would offer to do that? This is a great company and really takes care of the customer. more

Awesome, quick, and accurate 3/5/2012

2:30 PM and the home AC had failed on a muggy February day. Just over an hour after I called, Daryl arrived as the tech. He asked me about the symptoms and other things to help him diagnose the problem. Then he explained the process, and shortly had the problem diagnosed, an estimate an explanation of both "what" and "why", and then my OK to start the work. When he was done, he took the time to explain how well my system was performing. I appreciated the explanations. This was my first time using AirNow. Everything I would want or expect in HVAC service and more. more

Great Service, Bad News 3/2/2012

Because we have the service plan, our units are checked regularly. No problems were evident, but the technician found a leak. It is an old unit so there were several factors to consider. The new unit will be installed in 3 business days. No chance we will suddenly find ourselves without air conditioning. Prompt, professional, personal service. Who could ask for anything more? more

excellent service. 2/3/2012

We were very impressed with your personnel. When Daniel made the initial contact, he presented himself as knowledgalbe of the HAVC industry and was able to answer my questions without hesitation. He explained why we were not enjoying our system as we should and made suggestions to recktify the problems. Jason and Jim arrived exactly on time and expertly completed the installation and were out in 2 hours. The clean up was great. not a sign of the trash or debre from the work sites. Thank you. more

Customer service at its' best! 2/1/2012

We have lived in Millbrook for almost 13 years. AirNow is the only HVAC company we have used in that time, both for service and when it came time to replace an older unit. My recent service call came off without a hitch. Not only was the technician on time, but early - and we were contacted to make sure the early arrival was OK. Even though this was just a scheduled maintenance call, there was a capacitor that did not check up to par. The tech discussed this with me - in depth, I might add - before the decision was made to replace before failure. This is the kind of attention to detail that a retired maintenance manager can appreciate. That, along with treating our home with respect keeps us as long term customers. more

Best service experience ever 10/26/2011

I chose Air Now to install a heat pump in my lake house. I have had the unit for a little over a year. My power bill has been reduced by approximately $30.00 per month, not to mention the propane gas I do not have to purchase. In addition, from the very first person with whom I had contact, everyone, and I emphasize everyone, at the company has been helpful, polite, and accommodating at all times. When you need them, they show up in a timely manner. When they schedule routine maintenance calls, they show up on time, if not early. If they are going to come early, someone always calls first. I can honestly say that this company provides the best service I have ever experienced. more

Don't bother with these fools. 6/5/2011

I got such a run around trying to get service from these folks. On their website it showed a map putting me in their service area. I made an appointment twice because the first on did not take. After I was scheduled and waiting for service some rude person called and said they would not give me service because I had not bought a system unit from them. Don't bother with these fools. I called C and H Repair on Old Selma Rd. They came out the next day and did a great job. more
