I recieved a circular in the mail from Advance Auto Parts. I found something I needed, and so, went to the store on 5th st. Highway to take advantage of the deal. When I walked in the door, I realized there would be a wait, so I got in line, and waited my turn. Just as one of the counters opened up, a shopper, who just walked in the door, went to the counter without acknowledging anyone in the line. We expected the counter worker to direct the man to the end of the line, but, NO...he waited on him instead!
During the same visit, I noticed counter workers answering phone calls while customers were waiting for service. I always thought the ""rule of thumb"" said that, ""If someone is in the store, they should recieve preferential treatment over someone merely calling on the phone"". I guess that edict means nothing within Advance Auto's walls.
While the sale item I wanted to buy was a good deal, I had enough, and walked out the door, without buying anything. I was just too frustrated.
