Addis Red Sea

When in Cambridge you have to check out Addis Red Sea Ethiopian Restaurant. I took several friends there after our weekly meeting last Wednesday and we just loved it. Do ask for more bread! Great family atmosphere and kid friendly. The food was the best I have had in four and a half months. Bring the kids! more

I waited for this place to open for months. The south end location has been on my list of all-time favorite restourants for years. I have gone to the Cambridge location 3 times... each time hoping that it would be anything close to what I have always expected at the south end location. The service is horrible, the value is horrible, the servings are much smaller (in the combination platters) than at the other location. All 3 times we have been there we have had to ask where the food is after waiting for a very long time. I smell the food cooking through the whole neighborhood at 10 am every morning so I would assume they are just heating up the food (mostly stews, lentils, etc) which shouldn't take more than a few minutes. Not almost an hour! I've never been more disspointed in a restaurant. boohoo. Pros: ethiopian food is sooo good Cons: bad service, poor value more
